"Gained 3345 chakra."
A blue bar and a health bar floated above Hyuga Akira's head as well. His health hadn't dropped at all. Everyone only had one hundred HP—after all, they were ordinary humans, not real game characters with thick health pools.
His chakra, which had originally been around seven thousand, now broke past the ten-thousand mark.
This chakra increase was temporary. The dungeon raised his upper limit while the battle lasted; once the dungeon ended, all of it would be absorbed back into the dungeon itself.
Akira weighed the kunai in his hand.
The first kunai he had thrown was only meant to break the restriction that prevented monsters from being killed in a single hit.
While placing limits on the monsters, the dungeon also placed limits on him.
Restrictions and vows.
That was the true foundation that allowed the Game Dungeon to exist. There were many more complicated mechanisms involved—if Akira had tried to construct it himself, he would never have succeeded.
Using the same method, Akira picked off the remaining chunin one by one with kunai.
Three of them died with barely any resistance.

Six kunai in total were used.
Two others, although they only had the chakra levels of chunin, were actually Tokubetsu Jonin. They managed to dodge two of Akira's kunai attacks.
After breaking free of their restraints, they tried to assist their comrades—but Akira's attacks were faster.
The third strike he used was Long-Range Fire Dragon Strike.
To avoid releasing the jonin from their restraints too early, he reduced the area of effect—but the power became even more concentrated.
Both of them reacted the same way: the moment the fireball approached, they tried to dodge.
But Akira could detonate it at will.
The two Tokubetsu Jonin were killed instantly.

Now only five jonin remained.
That was the real challenge.
"Now the real fight begins," Akira said, drawing the Dark Warblade.
The five jonin were already wary of his Long-Range Fire Dragon Strike. Landing an instant kill would be difficult now.
So this time, he decided to go all out.
After all, this was his first time using his awakened skill.
Failure wasn't really an option.
And even if he failed—there wouldn't be time to regret it.
His figure flickered, appearing just outside a jonin's attack range. Because the dungeon was filled with Akira's chakra, he could use it to perform the Substitution Technique without needing kunai or shuriken as anchors.
At its core, his Substitution Technique was simply chakra replacement.
In a way, this was a bug of the Game Dungeon itself.
The jonin immediately threw shuriken at him, but once the projectiles crossed the boundary of the glowing circle, they lost all force and dropped harmlessly to the ground.
"So it really doesn't work…" the jonin muttered, frowning.
They stood only a short distance apart, yet he couldn't attack at all. It was a situation he had never encountered before.
"My turn."
Akira stepped forward, vanishing instantly.
He appeared behind the jonin and slashed—but only cut through a body made of mud.
Earth Release: Substitution Technique.
A pair of hands suddenly reached up from underground, trying to grab Akira's ankles. He leapt lightly, avoiding them.
Blue flames ignited across his body. His ears sharpened, and blue fire burned along his black hair like horns.
"Fire Release: Great Flame Technique!"
Akira inhaled deeply and spewed a torrent of blue fire toward the ground.
The earth instantly softened into molten mud. The Iwa ninja inside escaped at once—but explosive tags hidden in the mud suddenly ignited.
"Damn it!"
Akira vanished instantly.
It was the same trick he used on others—now turned against him.
How the tables turned.
Boom!
A violent explosion hurled mud and debris into the air.
The moment Akira reappeared and landed, the Iwa jonin burst from the ground, staring at him coldly as he completed a final hand seal.
"Earth Release: Stone Dragon!"
Earth and rock surged into the shape of a massive dragon, roaring toward Akira.
"Perfect timing," Akira grinned.
The Dark Warblade in his hand ignited with blazing blue flames. His body swelled slightly, his figure seeming to blur.
Transformation Technique.
Shadow Clone Technique.
Ogre Back.
Nen reinforcement.
Shiranui.
Five abilities layered over him at once.
He stepped forward and charged straight at the Stone Dragon.
The dragon swallowed him whole. Inside its body, grinding rocks churned relentlessly, capable of crushing a person to pieces.
But then—
Blue light began to shine from within.
Cracks spread across the dragon's body, blue flames leaking out.
Boom!
The Stone Dragon exploded into fragments that rained to the ground.
Akira injected chakra into the air beneath his feet, using Nen to stand suspended in midair.
He looked down at the stunned Iwa jonin below.
"Nin-taijutsu?" the jonin blurted.
"Something like that."
Akira's voice suddenly sounded behind him.
The jonin instantly vanished.
Earth Instant Body Technique.
"I've realized something," Akira's voice followed him like a shadow. "Right now, I'm actually pretty strong. Against a single jonin… you're no match for me."
The Iwa jonin's pupils shrank. He had even used a clone as a decoy, yet he couldn't understand how Akira had tracked him—or how he had found the real body.
There was no time left to think.
A flaming slash swept across his neck.
Under the Byakugan's gaze, any clone technique was useless. Akira had always been locked onto the real body.
The jonin's head fell.
[Experience +18797]
"Chakra: 24,587."
Akira turned toward the second jonin, baring his teeth in a grin.
He was now, in every sense, a true jonin. Without elite jonin entering the fight, one or two opponents simply weren't his match.
"Especially with this much chakra."
His chakra capacity had now reached an astonishing thirty thousand, and the Game Dungeon continued to replenish it continuously.
"At this rate, even an elite jonin wouldn't be my opponent!"
Akira had never been this arrogant before.
It was the sheer volume of chakra filling him with confidence. His max-level techniques had always been powerful, but chakra limitations had prevented him from using them to their full potential.
Now, with abundant chakra, he was at his strongest.
He no longer needed to worry about consumption.
Leaping high into the air, he inhaled deeply and exhaled downward with force.
"Fire Release: Great Fire Dragon Technique!"
Four fire dragons burst from his mouth, racing in four directions at once.
"Come at me—all of you!!!"
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Four explosions erupted—and four figures shot through the flames, charging straight toward the descending Akira.
This time, he was taking on four jonin at once.
