Eric decided that Josh would be in Trephania's vehicle, while Susan would go in Jessica's vehicle. He didn't trust his other soldiers to not lose their tempers. Many of them had lost family members in Killeen. After Josh was secured in Mia's vehicle, Eric glared icily at Josh. "Do not move or speak. You are being accused of treason, dessertion, and war crimes. We will take you back to Fort Hood. What happens next will depend entirely on the information you give us."
After walking back to his vehicle, he noticed blank stares boring holes into the back of his head. He ignored them and turned to Mia. "I need you to stay bac-"
"I know, Eric." She responded, her ears twitching as she refused to look into his eyes. "I don't like it, but I know I have to be the one staying back."
Eric kissed her forehead, and she wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly. Across from them, Erica and Justin were having their own moment. Michael looked off into the distance with an icy glare.
