Without waiting another second, Lumy's eyes widened with panic.
"Felix!!"
She immediately broke into a sprint, running straight toward the direction of the scream, ignoring the danger around her.
"Lumy! Don't be reckless!" Andrey shouted, but she didn't slow down.
"Damn it!" Andrey cursed and chased after her immediately, running through the dark forest as fast as he could.
They burst into a small clearing moments later.
In the center of the clearing stood a man with neat black hair and sharp, attractive features. He was currently bound by several dark, shadowy chains that wrapped around his body, holding him suspended in the air. His face was pale and filled with pain.
Lumy stopped abruptly, her breathing ragged.
"Felix…!"
Felix lifted his head weakly when he heard her voice. "Lumy…? Run… it's a trap—"
Before he could finish, a sultry, mocking laugh echoed through the clearing.
From the shadows behind Felix, a figure slowly emerged.
