In the West side of Siwang island was a village, It was famous for having the most adventure guild's the whole island has ever had.
Many people go to this village to find quests and earn income for their benefit but our new group of friends did not go there to look for a quest but rather they needed a way to the biggest city in the whole island and that is. " Shenghou " the only and the biggest city ever known throughout siwang.
POV: MORI
" I'm telling you, Jose, we need to get to qishi before the snow gets rough!" Shouted Nella before smashing her fist onto the table.She was wearing magician clothes that were red and white covered by the black cloth as her black hair swinged around before turning her glaze onto Len.
" She's right Jose we need to move out now or we will be stuck here for days as the opening ceremony for Qishi academy finishs." Len said as he also turned his glaze to Jose, Who was glazing at our party leader.
" Come on! Are you stupid you guys if we leave now who's what we will meet our there. Those monster are moving like crazy not that winter is upon us!" Cried Jose was desperate for answers to our party leader.
" What do you think Mori, Is it a good time for us to leave early or what?" Asked Kiran who was our leader for this party known as the "Gray bears."
" I-i-i don't think it's good fo-for us to leave now. I think Jose is right here."
Anger rose through Nella's face before kicking the table off and heading off upstairs. Nella was quite inpatient, She wouldn't wait for days perhaps months to leave she wanted to leave now.
" Oh man look at that we have a problem now. Thanks Mori, You damn ass!" Len grinned his teeth before walking away upstairs also.
" That motherfucker did he just call you an ass-hole" Jose said as he rushed after Len.
" Great siblings. This is a problem, Don't you think mori?"
" Yeah leader, ahhhh why can't we work together it's always us trying to rule each other and they don't listen to you leader." I complained.
" Well I personally think we should move early especially with what is happening."
" Come on Kiran you know damn well that storm monster's are quite the trouble right?"
Kiran shook his head as he stared at me with a smile before continuing.
" Not a clue, perhaps you can educate me on this snow monsters." he said as he dragged his sit close to me.
Kiran is a very weird person, I should say. He's the leader of this party yet what do you mean the leader himself has no clue about snow beasts!
" Well the first beast's we should avoid are the "Ronev" They are human-like but with Gray skin, Claws sharp enough to rip a human into two and they don't have a face."
" What? No face. How is that possible."
Kiran's face began to show signs of worry as he looked for more answers.
" Apparently they have a face but there is now eyes, ears or nose to begin with. Only teeth is what they have." I said as I locked head on with Kiran, his green hair was tied around his head like braids and we had a small scar on his forehead.
I fixed my glasses as i turned the page over and began.
" Now then this one is known as the 'Casosto' they say it is a powerful beast with pointy horns that can stab a person and it is tough in skin and can only be killed from the inside."
" Huh! Are you saying that it needs to eat you in order to die" He jumped away from his chair as he looked around as his cheeks turned red.
" Come on Kiran, You're embarrassing yourself now. Well it say that a mage or swordsman can pierce it from the inside with earth, ice and melt it's ice scales with magma." I said as I closed the book, Looking around for the waiter.
Kiran was left with no words to say he was now speechless unable to say anything.
" But does are now the only two right there quite a lot of beast's out there, Right?"kiran said.
" You're right but since it's winter season. Only the Ronev and casosto are seen during winter Sooo it's best we prepare for two and not focus on other best right boss." I said as i wrapped my arms around him before taking our order.
" Mori, You sound like a leader now. Don't you think you would fit for this role." He winked at me while wrapping his arms around himself.
I glazed over the guy who was grinning at me funny and unordinary. Kiran knows damn well that I have no communication skills or the skill to lead a party, the reason I talk like this with him is because we grew up together.
Growing up Kiran was quite hard. He is a trouble maker and has no sense of direction but one thing is good about him and that is he knows how to lead people and encourage them even in tough time that's why he became this party's leader.
Nella, Len and Jose were some people we meet three years along when we began our journey and after that we all Targetted 'Qishi' as our final stop. Although Nella was furious about our sudden stop, It's important we avoid meeting any of these beasts out there. Specially a Ronev.
I headed upstairs towards our rooms only to meet Len who was standing outside of our room. He let out a sigh and moved closer to me.
" Kiran my dear friend. Don't you think we should move early, I beg of you my friend it's important for Nella. Come on, please buddy." He said while anger was written all over his face.
" I s-seriously think it's good for us to wait, len."
"Oh come on man please think for Nella, it's been her dream to make it to the Academy and now we have to wait. Please think friend." Len said as he turned his back and headed towards Nella's room.
" Ahhhh fuck I'm fucking doomed!!!"
POV: KIRAN
Two days passed by we were now sitting at the table discussing our plan for when we head to qishi in the following month.
" I'm telling you we need to leave now, damnit." Nella argued.
" Ohhh, Please Nella just shut up. Death is only waiting for us if we leave now, Right kiran." Jose argued back while a smiling from ear to ear.
I raised my hands defensively as they continued to argue among each other.
Mori raised his hands while looking down. Everyone's attention was now focused on him.
" I think it's just as Nella said, It's best we leave now Kiran rather than later." He said looking uncomfortable.
" Change of mind?" I said.
" Ohhh great three siblings. Please what is your problem now Mori!!!" Jose's voice rose across the entire guild.
" It's better than us waiting right kiran." Mori said.
" Nah fuck that do you know how strong winter monster's are!!!" I guess Jose is the loud type.
" You heard that right Kiran. Let's go now and make it in time." Len said smiling from ear to ear.
" I guess we will leave today." I said as I began to prepare myself.
Jose looked at me with anger. He knew that there was no one and on one can question me or Mori if we ever make a decision. Jose stared at the floor clearly defeated.
Len passed around and put his hand on his shoulder as he said. " Well, That was a fun argument my friend. Let's go don't want to be late. Hahahah!!"

2 hours passed by and now everyone was waiting outside with our gears and bags ready. I prepared my sword as Mori began preparing his arrow and his bows for the road. Len was a high skilled healer and Jose is a dual fighter so both are extremely good at handling enemies along the way with Nella as our mage and also an extra healer in case, There's no way we will lose to a Rotanev or casosto.
" Alright everybody let's go!!!!"
"Yessir!!!"
We began our journey passing through the heavy snow and taking few small breaks along the way. So far we have not encountered any threat or danger, I have to say having Nella and Len is quite a huge investment because as mages they are able to clear the snow for us. I guess Mori was right it is quite good for us to move early rather than late.
I sat across the wooden fire while the other's fixed our beds to sleep. Jose Who was not having it was now calm and unbothered, He truly is a coward but he's quite the fighter in combat and he's known for his skills with dual blades. I truly wonder why is someone like him always scared of monster's yet he is strong in combat I guess we are all different.
" Len look it's our beautiful bed it's cute right." Nella said while hugging Len.
" Yeah extremely beautiful my love don't worry when we arrive to Qishi we will have our own bed and can cuddle all day." He said while kissing her.
" Get a room damn asses." Jose complained before coming towards me and sat down beside me, He was not angry or happy but rather we was now calm than early.
" They think this journey is going to be all fun. They don't know that all journey's have a burden to carry."
" And what is that my friend?" I asked out of curiosity.
" More like growing up. You don't have it easy in life when you grow up Kiran, You have burdens you need to carry in order for you to pass that stage." He said while clicking his tongue.
" But maybe we can have a easy journey now that we are close to Shenghou right?"
" As if Kiran even if there is something you want and that thing is close there will still be something blocking you from getting that thing and you need to fight for it." Jose replied back.
I need to fight for that thing. So you say, huh. Unfortunately Jose, Me and you are different people we will never be the same. Don't compare a fool like you to me. I thought as I made my way to my bed.
I stared at the sky that was black no stars were shining, Only the darkness was ruling over the sky.
" I guess we all have different tastes in life right Jose?" I said talking to myself.
Darkness took over me as I fell into a dark pitch realm that was made out of nothing. I couldn't even see my own dreams only the pitch dark awaited me.
POV: JOSE
The sun soon came to rise as the sound of natural began awakened us.
We began our journey this time we didn't rush nor try to push further rather our pace was slow than before. It seemed as if everyone is tired.
" Is everything okay." I asked.
" Huh w-what do you mean by t-that?" Mori answered.
" Some of us are tired you know. Although we had a nice comfortable bed we couldn't sleep because some people snore to an extent that we can hear them!!!" Nella cried out.
" Hahaha, I wonder who is that?" Kiran asked in curiosity.
"Of course it's you dumb-ass. Man, this guy!"
Kiran and Nella continued to argue among themselves. Our journey together truly is beautiful I should say. But I know it won't last forever. Not when we are being tailed.
No one has noticed that we are being followed. I looked around to see if anyone has realised but no, They were all focused ahead.
I slowly drew out my twin blades while I tried to sense for more monster's but there was only one following us, I couldn't see how it looked like but it was strong enough to take us all.
" Guys I think I might have to take a shit right now. It's an emergency." I said making an excuse.
" Huh come on now Jose you coward just hurry up okay we need to continue our journey to Qishi!!" Nella said blooming with excitement.
" Yeah i will catch up with you guys."
Kiran and the rest continued not even batting an eye on me rather they still focused in front of the road.
" Okay now reveal yourself Buddy!" I said as I conjured my blades with fire.
A 7 feet tall Gray skinned human like monster appeared out of the stormy snow, it's claws were sharp and it had no eyes not nose only sharp teeth remained.
I remained calmly not letting fear get ahold of me. I dashed forward as my conjured blades Swinged with fury. The human like creature dodged and backed way easily with an insane speed.
" Yohh! Faceless do you know why I let my party get away rather than let them fight is simply. I'm the oldest among them and I cannot let them die, But those fools want to challenge every danger they come across so I decided to act scared in front of them in other to strike fear. But I guess that was me being foolish, right!!"
I dashed closer to it as i swinged my twin blades only for the creature to dodge but I knew that it would dodge. I threw my other blade at the spot it dodged to.
The blade made impact, It pierced its left arm as the creature screamed in pain.
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!"
"Ghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!"
The 7 feet tall being disappeared dashed towards me in a speed that was unlike for a beast to move at. My blade and It's claws clashed together before jumping away and dashing once again towards the creature.
We began exchanging clashes, it's claws able to keep up with my flame blade. I jumped to a tree nearby and conjured flame arrows at it.
My flame arrows were making impact to the creature but it didn't scream in agony or try to run away rather it stood there taking my flames head on with a smile on it's face.
" So this is funny to you. All right time to increase the heat."
" FURY OF HEAT!!"
Molts of flames dropped from above us making impact with the creature.
"Ghhhhhbbbhhhhhh!!!!!"
" So you like that right!" I said as the creature dropped down to the ground, Laying died on the spot.
I came down from the tree walking towards the dead creature.
" I guess it was such a bad day to rain but next time I will fight with you fair and square." I said as I picked up my blade from it's left arm.
" I better get ba-" I choked on my own words as a powerful aura spread across the snowy forest. Another 7 foot tall creature appeared behind me.
" Ghhhrrrrrr!!" It landed it's claws at my right hips as the impact blast me away to a tree nearby.
Blood began coming out of my mouth and head as I tried to stand up. The creature was also the exact same as the other expected this one seemed stronger and faster.
" B-b-Boy y-you have...done it." I conjured flames to my blade only to be met by the creature again and it was faster than before.
We exchanged few blows with each causing destruction to the nature around us. The creature jumped on top of nearby trees moving in a ghost like phase.
I placed my hands on the ground setting up a trap. The creature came out of it's hiding spot, Dashing towards me in full speed.
" I guess you creatures have no sense of danger, I'm to assume." I said as flames began sprouting out of the ground, In a mere second the creature seemed unbothered while burning. It continued dashing at me unfazed.
" D-damn you...di- " A glowing arrow pierced through it's chest stopping its movement. It was Mori, he was at the top of a tree with his arrows ready. The whole party was here, here for m..me.
POV: MORI
Jose collapsed to the ground unconsciously as Kiran and the others closed in the gap. Nella and Len began their healing process towards Jose as Kiran searched for any signs of the creature.
" Damnit!! This is not what i was expecting for our journey!!!" Len said talking rather to himself than pointing at us.
In a distance sounds of metal clashed together, trees collapsing to the ground. Kiran and the ronev clashed together before another ronev jumped out of nowhere.
I conjured my arrows with wind aiming at the head of ronev. The arrow pierced the monster in the head cleanly as it collapsed to the ground.
Kiran was now going toe to toe with the ronev, Despite it's speed and powerful claws a ronev cannot see or smell rather they sense with their tongues or that is what the books say.
Kiran is a powerful swordsman with earth magic as his contribution, He never lost any against anyone but this battle told me a very different story. Kiran was struggling despite having earth magic as a support the creature was unfazed and faster enough to dodge his magic.
" Kiran!! Bring it over to my side I'm ready!!" I said jumping from one tree to another.
Kiran used earth magic to strengthen his sword strikes while leading the creature to my side, He pierced the ground activating his trump card " FÂLLÊÑ KÑÎGHTS!! " Multiple stone like swords sprouted out the ground piercing ronev and stopping its movement.
I gathered mana, Storing it in my core as I activated my trump card. Multiple arrows of wind gathered around aiming directly at the ronev's face. "Yohh!! Ronev, Try blocking this will you" I said. Grinning from ear to ear as the wind arrows pierced the ronev in multiple directions.
Kiran who was bleeding from his stomach smiled at me with thumbs raised up. " That was pretty cool Mori, I knew you were strong old friend."
I smiled back at him as I made my way to towards Jose and the others.

We continued our journey toward Shenghou. Jose was now fully healed and able to fight again, Kiran was stretched a little but he made a clean recovery and as for me and the others we had no injuries or wounds from the battle, we were all okay.
" Guys is that Shenghou city!!" Nella asked excitedly.
" Seems to be it" Len answered back.
" Finally let's go!!!" Jose said.
" Alright Gray bears let's go and find this academy shall we."
" Yes!!!"
We made our way inside the city only to be met by a crowd of people. The city itself, the biggest and the only city in siwang was fully crowded with all kinds of people.
We began exploring and finding more to this city. Nella, Jose and Len were going in all kinds of direction not even bothering with the Academy, I guess it's safe to say that they are happy to be here afterall we faced quite a problem out there so I guess they can enjoy themselves while at it.
" Come you guys!! Let's go to Qishi!!" Kiran said chasing after them.
" No way!!!"
It truly was peace here now that we have made it and not letting any of us die while in battle. I Began searching for anything that will help me as I continued my journey to Qishi academy, while searching for stalls there was a sudden crowd of people mostly women were there. They were complimenting at someone.
" Ohhh my he's such a cutie look at his skin and eyes."
" Yeah just look at that pale white skin of his, he soon cute!!"
I'm the middle of the was a boy who looked no less than 15 but tall enough, Standing in a nearby stall, He didn't bat an eye on the crowd only focused at what was being sold.
The boy suddenly began to looking away from the stall, This boy had a pale white skin like snow itself and he had snowy white hair that was long and flowing, Creating a elegant commanding look fitting for him.
His hair was styled up with spikes or layers at various spots on his head, the snowy hair was beautiful, beautiful but more than that was his eyes, eyes that were not unnatural for a human. Eyes that held stars in them, this boy had deep blue/night sky eyes with bright twinkling stars in white.
He passed by me with no emotion on his eyes almost like a dead man.
" Well.. this is..going to be a problem "
