Chapter 101 - Chapter 101: Is This How You All Treat Me?!

Underworld.

Boulder Town.

The battle here had already come to an end.

After temporarily clearing the surrounding threats in the Overworld, the vagrants along with Wildfire hurriedly rushed to the Underworld with a group of Silvermane Guards to provide reinforcements.

Now, results were already showing.

Fortunately, the Mechanical Settlement and the Great Mining Area hadn't been occupied for long. Although Fragmentum creatures would still sporadically appear, as long as they were promptly cleaned up, they wouldn't form into a large scale.

In the square illuminated by faint lights, Zeig was currently sprawled out flat on his back sitting there.

Inside the white light curtain behind him.

The Silvermane Guards were carrying out batches of supplies.

They were dazzling and varied, lined up row after row on the ground.

This left Dan Heng and March 7th, who were providing support in the Underworld, staring in dumbfounded shock.

March 7th widened her pink-blue eyes, walked over curiously, and asked: "So much jewelry, and this is also supplies?"

A certain someone named Zeig sat on the ground and nodded very smugly.

Welt emerged from the white light curtain together with the Silvermane Guards, his expression full of helplessness.

March 7th ignored Welt and continued:

"Wow, so much ice cream! Oh my gosh, and so many Wahaha! My heavens! There are even Kinder Surprise eggs!"

She ran over to the supplies, excitedly grabbed a few, and said thrilled: "I never thought Cocolia would actually approve this kind of supplies—truly a once-in-a-lifetime sight!"

Serval also walked out from the light curtain. Upon seeing the supplies, she hurriedly ran over and pulled out a set of elegant blue-black dress with iris patterns from inside.

"Hahahaha, I finally got my hands on it! I've wanted to wear this for so long!"

Seeing the two of them so excited, although Dan Heng was a bit suspicious, he still walked over.

He took out a scepter from among the supplies; it was carved all over with various kinds of gems and looked incomparably luxurious.

"This… is also supplies?"

A certain someone named Zeig said smugly: "Yeah!"

Immediately after, Dan Heng took out a pair of black stockings from among them: "This is also supplies?"

"Yeah!"

Dan Heng then took out Cocolia with a cold face from among them:

"This is also supplies?"

"Yeah!"

Smack—!!

Cocolia slapped away Dan Heng's hand, stepped out from the pile of supplies, glanced around at everyone present, clenched her fist, and sneered coldly: "Heh… truly an eye-opener for me."

She glanced at Serval and narrowed her eyes: "Serval, don't you have anything to explain about this?"

"Explain? Explain what?"

At this moment, Serval was still reluctant to part with the dress in her hands, her lips curled up so high they were practically flying.

"I kindly approved supplies for you all, and this is how you treat me?!" Cocolia furrowed her brows and swept her gaze over the Kinder Surprise eggs, Wahaha, jewelry, little pinwheels, and so on.

"Do you know how shocked I was when a Silvermane Guard came straight to my desk and took the scepter? You all are simply audacious to the extreme!"

Cocolia's appearance instantly dropped the atmosphere to freezing point.

She glanced sideways at Zeig on the ground and said in a deep voice: "Executor, you're not planning to explain either?"

"Explain? Explain what?"

A certain someone named Zeig sat on the ground, very skillfully picked up a bottle of Shuangwaiwai from behind, inserted a straw, and started drinking.

"What's wrong with taking these things to provide some support! A lot of the kids in the Underworld have never eaten or played with them!"

Cocolia narrowed her eyes, staring fixedly at the man on the ground. She reached out and pulled a pair of stockings from the pile of supplies.

Only then did everyone realize that this noble woman had only one leg wearing stockings—the other leg was completely bare!

With a murderous glare in her eyes, she put the stockings back on while coldly saying:

"The scepter can't be given to you, and the jewelry can't stay in the Underworld either! The economic gap between the upper and lower districts is already a huge headache—absolutely cannot let these jewels disrupt the market any further!"

With that, she hooked her finger.

Gepard and Bronya walked out from the light curtain, each leading some Silvermane Guards, and carried the scepter and jewelry back the way they came.

Immediately after, she glared at Serval again.

"Serval, I really didn't expect this from you—your skin is getting thicker and thicker! I never knew you were so good at seizing every opportunity before. I know you've always wanted this dress, but I didn't expect you'd abuse your power for personal gain!"

"Abuse my power for personal gain?"

Serval acted very innocent:

"Come on, that was the approval slip you signed! What power do I have? You're wronging me too much."

Cocolia furrowed her brows:

"You imitated my handwriting to request supplies I never wrote— and that's not abusing power?"

Serval said matter-of-factly:

"I-I was thinking of you! Look, you're so busy every day you're practically muddled with age! Helping you spot loopholes in the supplies is also lightening your load!"

"Lightening my load? You're telling me this is lightening my load?!"

Cocolia widened her eyes and looked around:

"Look at me now—do I look like my load is lightened?! I'm the Supreme Guardian! Coming all the way down from the Overworld just to chase after things—and you're telling me you're lightening my load?!"

"Ehehe~"

"Does 'ehehe' fix anything?!"

While the two were arguing, some residents who had been staying in the Underworld recognized Cocolia and couldn't help shouting:

"G-Guardian Supreme!"

This sudden shout made Cocolia freeze for a moment.

Immediately after, more and more surrounding residents were drawn by the shout, turning their gazes over one after another, soon filled with shock.

They hadn't joined Wildfire, so they hadn't gone up to provide support earlier—this was the first time in so many years they'd seen Cocolia.

"Supreme Guardian, after so many years, you've finally come to the Underworld again!"

"Do you still remember me? When I was young, I served as a guard in Qlipoth Fort!"

"Has the lockdown order really been lifted? Why are there no cable cars? These supplies—are they what you've brought for us?"

"Heavens bless our Belobog! This old man knew the Eternal Freeze was about to end—the Executor didn't deceive us after all—!"

"Supreme Guardian, come sit at the Goethe Grand Hotel! Leave the distributing of supplies to Wildfire!"

"Huh?" Cocolia stood stunned in place.

She looked behind her.

The light curtain from the Cosmic Juggernaut had already vanished, and the Zeig who had just been sitting on the ground was nowhere to be seen.

Serval walked over with a smile, pinched her shoulders, and persuaded: "Aiya, it's been so long since you've come to the Underworld—shouldn't you sit for a bit?"

"Yes yes yes, Supreme Guardian, we're very welcoming of your arrival!"

Cocolia instinctively took a step back but could only bump into Serval.

The latter smiled, opened a bottle of Shuangwaiwai, inserted a straw, and very skillfully handed it to her.

"Here, drink whatever—just my treat!"

"…This was originally approved by me."

"Yours is mine, isn't it?"

"Heh." Cocolia's mouth twitched.

Surrounded by the Underworld residents, the two gradually walked away.

Zeig sat on the rooftop, overlooking the scene below, and couldn't help sighing: "Heh, they curse the Overworld and the lockdown order every day, but the moment they see the Supreme Guardian, they still have to suck up."

Oleg sat beside him, his turbid eyes sparkling with spirit, and let out a smile.

"They curse, sure, but in our Belobog, the Supreme Guardian's significance is forever one of a kind."

"Heh, back when Bronya came down, you didn't say that to her, did you."

"…Let the past stay in the past."
