"Although it's still missing a few things, just follow this cave downward."
The old uncle waved his hand, and a cave appeared in the reef at the edge of the beach.
That's right—this was the cave the old uncle had previously created using the [Gnosis].
Following this cave downward, one would first pass through a relatively narrow passage that could only allow two adults to walk side by side.
Then, at the end, one would find an ordinary household door that was closed.
Yes, that's how it was. Although the inside hadn't even been tidied up yet, there had to be a door. Otherwise, how would you know that what lay ahead was the secret base?
The old uncle simply reached out and gently pushed. After the Adeptus art authentication was completed, they could enter the secret base.
Little Eula looked curiously at this secret base.
It was currently still in a bare-shell state. The old uncle hadn't finished tiling yet, so the interior of the secret base actually felt more like an unfinished construction site.
However, the size of this secret base wasn't small at all.
After all, in the future it would also serve as Little Kokomi's secret base for handling military affairs alone. Other things aside, two hundred square meters was guaranteed.
It also needed space for Little Kokomi's Watatsumi Island livelihood documents and light novels. The size was actually somewhat like a small library.
But precisely because it wasn't small, the old uncle really did have quite a few things he needed to busy himself with.
"Old Uncle, have you already decided on the specific construction plan?"
Looking at the arrangements the old uncle had left on site, Little Eula could still make out a few things.
Overall it followed a Liyue construction style—facing south from the north, five rooms and one living room, two bathrooms, with the living room having the largest area…
"It's alright. I just built as I thought of things. You'll understand once you look around the site, Little Eula."
The old uncle hadn't thought too much about the construction. He simply built according to survival needs.
How should he put it?
It felt a bit like making a real-life Serenitea Pot. Later he could just pick out matching furniture…
Anyway, furniture for the old uncle and Little Eula didn't need to be worried about. After all, back when they were in Liyue, the old uncle had already prepared everything in advance without any worries.
The one who actually needed to be troubled was Little Kokomi. After they finished working in the afternoon, he would take her shopping in the evening to buy furniture she liked.
"Specifically speaking, there definitely won't be any problems. It's very much in line with what's proper. However, there can still be some adjustments in the details. That would make it look even better."
Little Eula nodded, then also joined the ranks of helping the old uncle build the secret base.
If one were to ask what exactly they were busy with…
Plastering cement.
The old uncle, who possessed Anemo, had an innate advantage when it came to this kind of work.
Where it was done well, where it wasn't— one glance and he could sense the interior.
Once again, he had to thank Aunt Xianyun for her family-sponsored materials.
She really had considered so many things. It was enough to make one cry.
However, there were still some problems. After the initial framework of the construction took shape…
"Old Uncle, why do I feel like the secret base has a bit of the flavor of a Liyue Adeptus mansion?"
"To be precise, it should be Aunt Xianyun's aesthetic… Hmm, it's not a big problem. After all, the materials were all personally selected by Aunt Xianyun."
Having a Liyue Adeptus-style mansion inside Inazuma—how strange. Why would he have this kind of dream?
Thinking this, the old uncle couldn't help but laugh out loud.
If one day this place was discovered by someone, there would probably be wild rumors outside saying "The Soul-Suppressing General's original identity was actually a Liyue Adeptus," right?
No matter what, with the addition of Little Eula's Cryo element, the progress of building the secret base had been greatly accelerated.
