"Is she... Champion Cynthia?"
Alice looked at the figure standing before them and murmured to herself.
Darkrai stared intently at Garchomp.
"You are stopping me."
"Garch!"
Not convinced? Want to fight?
"Let's fight then!"
A Dark Void was thrown from its hand once again.
Garchomp opened its mouth, and powerful energy poured out.
Countless meteors fell from the sky.
Darkrai constantly shifted its form, dodging the Draco Meteor.
"Champion Cynthia, Darkrai isn't bad—"
Alice watched Darkrai fighting with Garchomp and couldn't help but shout.
"I know."
Cynthia's voice interrupted Alice.
Then she looked at Darkrai, "I said I would help you, but not in this way."
Garchomp returned to Cynthia's side at her call.
Darkrai looked at Cynthia and Garchomp, and Alice behind them.
Its form gradually vanished into the shadows and then headed into the distance.
Cynthia watched its departing back and couldn't help but shake her head.
"What a stubborn fellow."
Ash came to Cynthia's side with the sleeping Pikachu, "Miss Cynthia, why are you here?"
"Champion Cynthia, Darkrai—"
Cynthia smiled and shook her head at them, "Help me take them all to the Pokémon Center. I'll explain everything to you in detail later."
"Okay."
Ash and the others worked with Cynthia to bring all the people and Pokémon who had been put to sleep by Darkrai's Dark Void to the Pokémon Center.
Connie also arrived at the Pokémon Center.
"Strange, why are there so many souls floating here?"
Ash looked at the sky and asked in confusion.
Cynthia and the others looked at Ash with confused expressions.
"Souls?"
Alice asked.
"Yeah, can't you see them? For example, over there, a Lickilicky entered that man's body, while that man's soul entered the Lickilicky's body."
Everyone looked in the direction Ash pointed and saw a Lickilicky standing up.
"Where is Darkrai? I'm going to defeat it!"
The Lickilicky spoke in human language.
"Lickilicky talked!"
Dawn cried out in surprise, holding Piplup.
"What Lickilicky? I am Baron Alberto!"
Lickilicky came before everyone and spoke.
"Oh, Baron Lickilicky."
Ash spoke bluntly.
"It's Baron Lickilicky! No, it's Baron Alberto!"
Lickilicky shouted loudly.
At this time, Connie walked over, holding an instrument.
"The legendary Pokémon Palkia should be in the town. It's likely that because it's hiding in a space rift within the town, the resulting fluctuations caused the humans and Pokémon put to sleep by Darkrai's Dark Void to swap souls. Darkrai appeared because of Palkia's appearance as well."
Connie looked at the fluctuations on the instrument, knelt on the ground, and said while constantly adjusting it.
"Palkia? Isn't that the Pokémon we saw before?"
Ash remembered where he had seen Palkia and looked at Cynthia.
Connie and Alice, standing to the side, looked at Ash.
Cynthia nodded.
"That's right. Lucas just called and told me. It's precisely because of the anomalies of Palkia and the others in Eterna City that Darkrai has been dispersing people all over the town."
"Darkrai wants to drive everyone out of Eterna City so they can escape this crisis."
Hearing Cynthia's words, Alice hugged Connie, "Connie, did you hear that? Champion Cynthia said Darkrai is good."
Connie's face turned red.
"This—"
Baron Lickilicky fell into silence upon hearing Cynthia's words.
"Is it really good? Champion Cynthia?"
Baron Lickilicky wouldn't give up, "I mean, is what that person named Lucas said definitely correct?"
"He's not even here."
"What the Manager says is definitely right."
Ash spoke up.
"I also believe the Manager. After all, the Manager has handled many matters regarding legendary Pokémon."
Dawn also supported Ash from the side.
Cynthia nodded, "I've talked with Darkrai, and it turns out what Lucas said is correct."
"But—"
Baron Lickilicky wanted to say more, but the ground suddenly shook.
Cynthia was the first to walk out, looking up at the sky.
Darkrai was floating in the air.
It was staring intently at the purple figure that appeared above the town, its voice filled with anger.
"Leave this place!"
Darkrai threw a Dark Void at Palkia.
Palkia blocked the Dark Void with its arm and swung its claws at Darkrai, forming light waves.
Darkrai dodged the light wave.
"That's—"
Ash and the others followed close behind, walking out and seeing Palkia and Darkrai in the sky.
"Palkia—"
"Darkrai is fighting it... it's... protecting us—"
Alice covered her mouth, her eyes filled with emotion.
Cynthia reached out to stop Ash and the others who wanted to go help.
"Ash, leave this to me now."
Cynthia's voice left no room for doubt.
"But—"
Ash wanted to say more, but Dawn pulled on his clothes, and he stopped.
"Listen, Lucas told me to tell you: right now, go with Dawn and the others to the Spear Pillar, find the stone disc engraved with the song 'oración', then place it on the Spear Pillar and play it."
"Is 'oración' at the Spear Pillar?"
Connie asked.
"That's what Lucas said. So, you must complete this task. Garchomp and I will cover you."
Cynthia jumped onto Garchomp's back without looking back.
"Now, run."
With that, Garchomp flew towards the sky.
"Yes."
Ash turned his hat backward and ran towards the Spear Pillar with Pikachu.
Dawn and the others followed close behind.
Alice and the others followed as well.
A beam of light intercepted Cynthia and Garchomp.
Cynthia turned her head and saw a blue figure crashing straight toward Palkia and Darkrai.
Dialga.
Has arrived on the battlefield!
Garchomp took Cynthia to a safe place. Standing on Garchomp's back, Cynthia touched the wooden plaque on her wrist.
"Lucas, I'll take care of this."
At this moment, an Altaria flew beside Garchomp, and Wallace jumped down from Altaria's back.
"Things look quite serious, Champion Cynthia."
Wallace exhaled and said with a smile.
Cynthia lowered her wrist and glanced at Wallace.
"It's time for us Champions to make our move."
Cynthia said.
"It's an honor to fight alongside you, Miss Cynthia."
Wallace said.
"Altaria, Dragon Pulse."
"Garchomp, Draco Meteor!"
On the other side.
"What's going on, meow?"
"How did Palkia and Dialga suddenly appear?"
Jessie hid in an alleyway with James and the others, watching the battle in the sky and speaking.
Then they met Ash and the others who were passing through the alley.
Lucas got off Latias's back, Mr. and Mrs. Fujino came out, and Lucas released the Meowstic siblings.
"I'll leave it to you to introduce the Meowstic to the Breeding House."
After speaking, Lucas crouched down and looked at the Meowstic siblings, "Wait for me in the Day Care for a while. I'm going to handle something."
The Meowstic siblings nodded understandingly.
Lucas looked at Mr. and Mrs. Fujino, "Don't tell Shauna yet. I'll be back after I've handled it."
Lucas turned and walked out of the Day Care.
"Lucas, good luck in battle."
Lucas paused for a moment and waved.
The harbor of Twinleaf Town at night was still brightly lit.
Lucas walked along the coast, holding the wooden plaque on his chest.
Feeling the sea breeze, he closed his eyes.
"God of the sea, hearken to my call."
His voice drifted into the distance with the sea breeze.
Boom!
A massive spray of water erupted in the distant sea.
A giant figure flapped its wings beneath the sea.
Wind and rain raged over the sea.
Lucas looked at the giant figure appearing before him.
"Let's go do something very exciting."
Lucas said.
"Oh?"
A voice echoed in his heart.
"Let's meet the Twin Gods of Time and Space."
"Interesting."
That night, thunder suddenly roared in Twinleaf Town.
