"Why did you just eat it?!"
Nunu looked at Logan in utter confusion, his mouth open, his whole body nearly frozen in shock.
He and Willump had gone on an adventure to bring this back. Hadn't he said... hadn't he said he needed to use it as a material to help Nunu deal with the person above them?
Why?!
Ten thousand questions emerged in Nunu's mind. He even had the urge to raise his little fists and run up to hit Logan!
"Why can't I eat it?" Under the green light, Logan said to Nunu with a wicked grin.
In Nunu and Willump's own personal game, when Nunu took the jurlberry to find old Ornn, Ornn had eaten the jurlberry right in front of Nunu and Willump.
Logan, whose intentions were rather bad, copied that part. Not only did he want to tease Nunu, he also wanted to taste what kind of flavor a jurlberry had if even Ornn craved it.
And honestly, it really was pretty good!
The fruit had plenty of juice. After biting through the skin, the flesh inside was soft, fragrant, and sweet, and it even carried a hint of fiery heat. This fiery heat was truly fiery. After the flesh melted, it was like a ball of liquid fire entering his mouth, so scorching it felt as if he had taken a sip of magma.
No wonder Ornn craved jurlberries. To Ornn, this was probably the most suitable little snack.
Unfortunately, Jinx would not be able to eat this fruit. Without a superhuman physique and pain tolerance, no, to put it plainly, without extremely powerful magic, it would be impossible to eat this fruit.
Otherwise, Logan could have brought one back for Jinx to try a bite, just to taste something new.
A Freljordian specialty, after all!
As Logan ate the jurlberry, he chewed and looked at Nunu.
Nunu looked at Logan and said, "So after you finish eating it, will you help me?"
As he spoke, Nunu held the teardrop-shaped gem in his hand while shrinking backward, looking at Logan cautiously.
Noticing Nunu's little movement, Logan was amused.
Honestly, teasing children really was pretty fun.
"How am I supposed to help you if you don't give me the thing?"
"You're not going to eat it too, are you?!" Nunu asked warily.
"That's a stone... a gem. I don't eat that kind of thing," Logan said.
Nunu took a deep breath and looked at Willump, only to see that Willump also seemed a little at a loss. After thinking about it, Nunu made up his mind.
He walked forward, stood on tiptoe, and handed the gem to Logan.
Hmm... It was called a gem, but in truth, White had simply found some random stone and processed it a little.
Still, it was already more than enough to use for teasing a child.
Logan took the gem and began putting on an act.
"Wait here for a little while. It'll be ready soon."
"Okay, but you can't lie to me this time," Nunu said very seriously.
To him, being tricked was not the main issue. He was not afraid of Logan. He was only worried that if things continued like this, he would not be able to find his mom.
The little guy's heart was pure, and when he looked at Logan with those big eyes and said that, Logan instantly felt a little embarrassed.
"I won't lie to you. Wait here for me a moment. I'll be right back," Logan said with a cough.
After saying that, his body vanished before Nunu and Willump.
At the summit of the snow peak, Lissandra and Nilah were already waiting there. Along with them was Nunu's mother, Layka, who was watching all of this from the space Lissandra had created.
Speaking of which, Layka's situation really did look a lot like she had been captured by Lissandra and turned into a prisoner...
"Give me a bite of the fruit." The moment Logan came up, Nilah stretched out her hand and said that.
Logan looked at the fruit he had already bitten a chunk from. After thinking about it, he broke off a piece and handed it to Nilah.
Nilah widened her eyes. "What's that supposed to mean? You think I'm gross?"
"I'm the one who thinks you're gross," Lissandra said coldly beside them. As she spoke, she took the remaining fruit from Logan's hand.
"You want to eat it too?" Logan looked at Lissandra and blinked.
Lissandra calmly said, "Did you forget whose thing this is? This was mine in the first place. So what if I eat it?"
"Fine, fine. Eat it if you want." Logan was speechless.
Nilah took a bite, then hissed and stuck out her tongue, fanning it with one hand. "Why is it so hot?!"
Seeing that Nilah, who could control water, had been burned by the fruit, Lissandra paused just as she was about to put the fruit into her mouth and hesitated a little.
But after thinking that Nilah merely played with water while she played with ice, Lissandra opened her mouth and gently bit off a piece of the fruit.
Then her brows relaxed. Her pale pupils remained unfocused, but the way she sped up and ate the fruit betrayed her.
"This is the first time I've learned that jurlberries can replenish magic, and that they taste this good," Lissandra said softly after finishing the fruit in a few bites.
Jurlberries grew extremely slowly and contained magic. Ordinary people could not consume them at all. There had once been records of someone eating a jurlberry by mistake and turning themselves into a piece of charcoal. Because of that, jurlberries were never part of the Freljordian diet.
In the past, this thing had mostly been used as an enchanting material, or crushed and added to campfires so that the fire could burn for a very long time, adding heat and warmth to a tribe. It was a kind of material.
Because of that, Lissandra was very surprised. So Ornn... actually knew how to eat?
"Let's talk business. How do we handle this thing?" Logan stretched out his hand and showed the tear-stone to the others.
Nilah put one hand on her hip and spoke unclearly while biting the fruit. "I can act, but I'm not playing the weakling."
Lissandra turned her head toward Nilah, then faced Logan. Raising her hand, she made a piece of dark ice appear. The surrounding heat plummeted. The moment that piece of dark ice appeared, it instantly lowered the temperature around them.
Lissandra then shaped the dark floating ice into a small box and said to Logan, "Use this. Say it's a box made from the gem, and that it can freeze Nilah's water. He has no reason not to believe it."
What bad intentions could a child have?
Logan nodded. "That works. This is pretty good."
"Then let's begin. Nilah, remember this. Don't add extra drama for yourself later. After Nunu opens the box and freezes your water, act injured. Otherwise, this performance is going to drag on forever."
"I'm busy, okay? I don't have time to come here every day to cooperate with this."
Lissandra: "..."
Then why did you suggest this idea in the first place?
"I'll be injured? What kind of joke is that?" Nilah shook her head.
Crack.
The dark floating ice froze Nilah's legs. Her expression instantly changed. The smile still hung at the corners of her mouth, but panic flashed through her pupils. After coughing in a stammering, awkward way, Nilah pretended nothing had happened and said, "But acting properly is also an experience. I agree."
Logan looked at Nilah. "Heh."
Was Nilah a donkey or something? She wouldn't behave unless she got hit!
"Then let's begin. No wasting time."
Sitting in Willump's arms, Nunu said with some lack of confidence, "Willump, do you think we were tricked?"
"Roar..." Willump's voice was a little quiet.
Nunu shook his head. "No. He helped me. He saved us. He wouldn't trick us."
"Besides, what's the point of tricking a child? Adults aren't that bored."
"Cough." Logan felt a little embarrassed when he heard Nunu's voice.
Nunu was indeed inside a lie right now, just like a boy living in a fake world. What, Nunu's world?
"You're here!" Hearing Logan's voice, Nunu immediately jumped down from Willump's belly and ran toward Logan with quick little steps.
"Yeah. The item is ready. With this, you can go up there." Logan handed the box Lissandra had made to Nunu.
Nunu was just about to reach out and take it when Willump suddenly let out a confused roar.
On the small box, Willump sensed a familiar aura, but he did not know exactly what it was.
But Nunu had already taken the small box. Then, seeing that nothing happened, Willump sat back down in the snow. Still, his eyes remained fixed on the small box, and he scratched his head in confusion.
It was not strange for Willump to react this way. After all, Dark True Ice was still a type of True Ice. Although it was not as powerful as True Ice and carried an evil aura, to yetis, magical creatures who lived with True Ice and could control it, of course they could sense it.
But after being muddleheaded for so long, Willump's brain had clearly regressed quite a bit.
"How do I use it?" Nunu looked up at Logan and asked.
"When she releases the waves, all you need to do is open the small box. But pay attention. This box can only be used once, so you have to find the best moment to use it," Logan said to Nunu.
As he spoke, Logan bent down and patted Nunu's shoulder. "Nunu, you'll keep moving forward, right?"
"Of course! I still have to find my mom!" Nunu immediately said.
"Then go up now, Nunu. Time waits for no one. You have to reach Winged Mountain as soon as possible and find that thing."
"What thing? What do you want me to find?" Nunu became confused.
But Logan lowered his voice, and his body had already floated off the ground, flying higher and higher.
That made Nunu below grow anxious. "You still haven't said what you want me to find! Wait, wait before you leave! Finish what you were saying!"
Logan's voice drifted through the snowy valley.
"Nunu, you'll find it... that thing that belongs to you. You only need to discover it, and you'll possess it."
As he spoke, Logan looked toward Willump, who had raised his head. The yeti gazed at Logan, dazed and confused.
Seeing that, Logan laughed.
Willump had clearly heard that there was a deeper meaning in Logan's words, but he was simple and a little foolish, so he was not sure whether his thoughts were right.
After all, he should have been the only one who knew what that thing was!
After Logan disappeared, Nunu first stomped his feet in anger, then said helplessly, "Willump! What's wrong with all these adults? Can't they just explain things clearly?"
"Why do they always say things halfway? As if talking like that makes them sound amazing! Talking like that isn't amazing at all. It's just really annoying!"
"That green-glowing guy is like that, Lissandra is like that, Mom... even Mom is like that!"
Nunu looked up at the sky, cupped his hands around his mouth like a megaphone, and shouted loudly, "Why are you adults always like thiiiiis?!"
After venting, Nunu let out a breath and looked at Willump.
"Let's go, Willump. It's time for us to set off!"
"Roar!"
Willump grabbed Nunu and placed him on his head. His gaze turned toward the summit of the snow peak, and in the next moment, he suddenly leaped out.
His huge feet pushed off, his hands and feet worked together, and in just a few movements, Willump carried Nunu up dozens of meters.
He was very fast. At this rate, it would not be long before...
Nunu and Willump returned to the mountaintop once again, facing Nilah directly.
"Keep an eye on Nilah. I have to leave for a while."
At the summit of the snow peak, Logan looked at Lissandra and spoke.
"What is it?" Lissandra asked.
"Speed things up. It's about to begin. Winged Mountain will be the stage where you make your entrance. Put pressure on Nunu and cooperate with Layka to hint to him, so he understands that the Heart of the Blue is inside his body."
"We can't keep dragging this out. Some problems have also appeared over in Shurima," Logan said seriously.
"I remember you sent Jax, Master Yi, and Karma to Shurima. With the abilities of those three, is there still something in Shurima capable of giving them trouble?" Lissandra frowned. After thinking for a moment, she said, "Azir?"
"More troublesome than Azir. It's Xerath," Logan sighed.
"That coffin-board's strength is no weaker than Azir's, and his destructive power is terrifying. Jax and the others ran into Xerath. The three of them surrounded and attacked Xerath together, but still failed to take him down. He used a city as a hostage."
"..." Lissandra very much wanted to say, then let him destroy it. It was Shurima's problem anyway. What did it have to do with the Twin Cities?
If something went wrong, Azir would be the one to take the blame. Who told him to release Xerath?
But obviously, Lissandra did not say that directly. She only thought it in her heart.
She also knew that compared to Logan, her heart really was much darker. But in truth, she was already much better now. After Logan appeared, it was as if a sun had appeared in Lissandra's inner world, and the dark side was being melted away.
"Xerath is very likely to go find Renekton. If that happens, Jax and the others won't be able to stop him. Besides, Azir and Nasus's attitudes are also uncertain." Seeing that Lissandra did not speak, Logan took the initiative and continued.
He paused, then went on, "So I have to go over there."
After hearing that, Lissandra understood what Logan meant.
The place Logan was talking about was... the spirit realm.
So, he was going to ask that fox for help again?
"Fine. I understand."
"You don't need to worry about Nunu anymore. As for Shurima, if there's any need, you can have Janna inform me. I'll take Nilah there with me."
Lissandra spoke in a cold and indifferent voice.
Azir... Even at Shurima's strongest, it had failed to take the Freljord, much less now.
The last emperor had lost his kingdom, so wouldn't it have been better for him to obediently turn to dust? Why did he have to come back out?
"Wait, when did I say I was going?" Seeing Lissandra make the decision for her, Nilah immediately said unhappily.
Crack.
The same situation happened again.
Lissandra directly froze Nilah's mouth shut without even turning her head.
That left Logan looking at Nilah, who was waving her hands around in dissatisfaction but unable to make a sound, shaking his head with a laugh.
Nilah really was asking for it...
Then, it could begin.
Taking a deep breath, Logan flew toward the Twin Cities.
He had to enter Spirit Blossom, then... convince Thresh!
The great battle was about to erupt. Thresh had to come out!
He had combat power equal to Ahri's, and Ahri was only somewhat weaker than Lissandra. Put it this way, if Ahri and Thresh teamed up, even Lissandra would not be able to endure it!
And if it was Ahri plus Lissandra plus Thresh, could Ornn endure it?
He probably could. But what if Riven, Cassiopeia, Soraka, Evelynn, and Syndra were added too?
There was no way he could withstand that!
Logan's greatest source of confidence was... Spirit Blossom!
