Chapter 160 - Chapter 160: An Unexpected Journey — The DC Universe

Darkness.

Endless darkness.

Levi felt his body being torn apart, every cell screaming in agony.

Inside the spatial rift, there was no concept of time, no sense of direction—only chaotic torrents of energy crashing against him.

He tried to stabilize his consciousness.

The six laws within his body trembled violently, clashing against one another, nearly tearing him apart from the inside.

He didn't know how long it lasted.

Maybe a second. Maybe ten thousand years.

Then—

A blinding white light appeared.

Levi was violently hurled out.

Boom!

He smashed through three buildings in succession before crashing into the street below, creating a crater ten meters wide.

The dust settled.

Levi lay at the bottom of the crater, gasping for air.

His body was riddled with cracks, blood seeping from countless wounds and pooling beneath him.

But he was alive.

The healing factor slowly kicked in. The Super Soldier Serum repaired damage. His godly physiology began reconstructing his cells.

Just… painfully slow.

Levi frowned.

Something was wrong.

He tried to mobilize the laws within his body.

The Law of Space was barely usable—at maybe thirty percent of its original power.

The Law of Strength was worse—almost nonexistent.

Time, Reality, Mind, Death—all of them felt sealed behind an invisible barrier, sluggish and resistant.

The laws of this universe… were different.

Levi struggled to sit up and looked around.

A bustling metropolis.

Skyscrapers towered overhead, traffic flowed through the streets, pedestrians in modern clothing spoke English.

But something felt off.

The architecture leaned more futuristic. Floating advertisements flickered in midair. Flying vehicles streaked across the sky in the distance.

Most importantly—

He looked up.

The sun.

Its color was slightly more yellow than the one he knew.

This wasn't the Marvel Universe.

Levi confirmed it instantly.

He stood, ignoring the blood still dripping from his wounds.

First, he needed to figure out where he was.

A crowd had already gathered—some taking pictures, some screaming, others calling the police.

Levi ignored them.

He closed his eyes and extended his perception.

His domain couldn't fully manifest, but basic energy sensing still worked.

He scanned the city.

Strange.

The energy density here was lower than in the Marvel Universe—but the quality was higher. Purer.

As if it was bound by a higher-order rule.

Then—

He felt it.

A powerful energy fluctuation.

Five kilometers east.

Even suppressed by this universe's laws, it made his heart tighten.

At least Skyfather-level.

Levi didn't hesitate.

Forcing the Law of Space into action, he vanished.

The next moment, he appeared atop a skyscraper.

And he saw it.

Two figures clashing midair.

One wore a blue suit with a red cape, a red-and-yellow emblem on his chest.

Superman.

Levi recognized him instantly.

The other was a mechanical being, metallic body gleaming, red eyes blazing as it launched relentless attacks.

Superman moved at incredible speed—too fast for normal humans to follow.

One punch compressed the air into a white shockwave, sending the machine flying.

But the machine stabilized quickly, firing twin red heat beams from its eyes.

Superman responded in kind.

Their heat visions collided midair, exploding into blinding light.

Levi stood silently, observing.

He evaluated Superman's strength.

Speed—supersonic.

Strength—capable of lifting buildings.

Durability—immune to conventional weapons.

Energy output—heat vision reaching thousands of degrees.

Stronger than Thor.

But not stronger than me at my peak.

He reached a conclusion.

But he also noticed something critical.

Superman's power source…

It came from the sun.

More precisely—from the radiation of this yellow star.

Kryptonian physiology.

Levi's eyes lit up.

An opportunity.

If he could copy it, he could absorb solar energy, rapidly recover, maybe even surpass his former limits in this universe.

He was about to move—

When the machine's attacks suddenly grew more frantic.

Its body began glowing.

Energy rapidly accumulated.

Self-destruction?

Levi's pupils shrank.

Superman noticed too, trying to break free—but the machine latched onto him tightly.

Three seconds.

Levi moved.

He teleported beside them, forcing the Law of Space to its limit, constructing a micro spatial cage around the machine.

Boom!

The explosion detonated.

Terrifying energy raged within the confined space—but remained trapped inside a three-meter sphere.

Levi gritted his teeth, veins bulging.

His laws were heavily suppressed here—maintaining the cage nearly drained him.

Three seconds later, it ended.

The cage dissipated.

Levi swayed, nearly collapsing.

Superman flew over, catching him.

"Are you okay?"

His voice was warm, filled with concern.

Levi looked up at that unmistakably righteous face.

"I'm fine."

He extended his hand.

"Thanks for the save."

Superman paused, then shook it.

"No… you saved me."

At that moment—

Levi spoke inwardly.

Copy.

A system notification echoed in his mind.

[Detected S+ Grade Physique: Kryptonian Physiology]

[Confirm replication?]

[Warning: Conflict detected with host's current physique. Fusion will require time.]

Levi didn't hesitate.

Confirm.

A massive stream of information surged into his body.

His cells began restructuring. His genes rewrote themselves.

Kryptonian physiology fused with his divine body, Super Soldier Serum, and healing factor.

It was painful.

But Levi's expression didn't change.

He released Superman's hand and nodded.

"I'm Levi. From… far away."

Superman smiled.

"People call me Superman."

He glanced at Levi's wounds, frowning.

"You're hurt. Want me to take you to a hospital?"

Levi shook his head.

"No need. I can handle it."

Then he asked:

"Where am I?"

"Metropolis."

Levi nodded.

As expected.

The DC Universe.

He looked up at the yellow sun.

He could feel it—his new Kryptonian physiology instinctively craving its energy.

"Thanks."

He vanished.

Superman blinked.

"…He can fly too?"

Levi reappeared in an abandoned industrial zone outside Metropolis.

He sat cross-legged.

Then he activated his Kryptonian physiology.

It roared to life like a massive energy receiver, greedily absorbing solar radiation.

Golden light poured down from the sky, converging onto his body.

His skin began to glow. His wounds healed visibly.

Not enough.

Still not enough.

Levi opened his eyes and looked upward.

Then he rose.

Higher.

Faster.

He broke through the atmosphere and entered space.

No air. No gravity.

Only the vast void—and the blazing star.

Levi spread his arms, facing the sun.

His Kryptonian body operated at full capacity.

Solar energy flooded into him like a tidal wave.

His cells rejoiced.

Evolved.

Strengthened.

Divine physiology. Super Soldier Serum. Healing factor. Kryptonian body.

Four forces fused violently within him.

The suppressed laws inside him began to recover under the nourishment of solar energy.

Time passed.

Levi floated in silence like a statue.

Golden patterns slowly emerged across his skin—signs of energy saturation.

But he didn't stop.

He didn't just want recovery.

He wanted more power.

Enough to return.

Enough to defeat Thanos.

Enough to protect everyone.

Finally—

Levi opened his eyes.

His pupils glowed pure gold.

He clenched his fist.

The power had returned.

Stronger than before.

Kryptonian physiology granted him near-limitless stamina and recovery—as long as there was sunlight, he would not fall.

His divine body elevated his existence.

The serum and healing factor perfected his physical balance.

Together—they had undergone a qualitative evolution.

His body had surpassed the standard Skyfather level.

More importantly—

His laws were recovering.

Not yet at peak—but usable.

Levi looked into the distance.

He could sense it.

A familiar fluctuation.

A spatial rift.

The way home.

But not yet.

He wasn't fully recovered.

A reckless attempt might trap him in the void again.

He needed more time.

More sunlight.

Levi turned to look at Earth.

A blue planet, almost identical to the one he knew.

But its people… its heroes… were strangers.

He would stay here for now.

Gather strength.

Then return.

And when he did—

Thanos.

And the Time Variance Authority.

They would pay.

He descended.

Golden light trailed behind him like a comet.

People in Metropolis looked up.

Some made wishes.

Some recorded videos.

Some posted online.

None of them knew—

That within that streak of light was a man from another universe.

A man who would change everything.

Levi landed on a mountain overlooking the city.

Night fell. Lights flickered on.

He thought of Wakanda.

Of Steve. Tony. Wanda.

He had made a promise.

I'll be back. Never give up.

"…Wait for me."
