Storm tumbled hear over heels without any idea which way was up or down as he was flushed with the two water elementals.
He must have re-entered the ballroom again because he heard several gurgling screams as other partygoer soon joined Storm's unplanned bath.
After a few minutes of spinning everyone around the room, they were all dropped on the ground as the elementals left the room.
Storm spat out a stream ice cold water and coughed as his lungs desperately tried to expel the water he had taken in.
Several other dazed people beside him were slowly getting back to their feet. Storm could feel them all staring at him angrily.
As he got up a woman screamed, drawing everyone's attention. Near the center of the room, was a man with bright red skin and two long straight horns growing out of his head.
His hair was glowing and almost seemed to be on fire his red eyes watched everyone around him with disdain. Steam was radiating from him as the heat evaporated the water covering his skin.
"D-D-Demon!!!" Called one of the partygoers.
Pandemonium broke out a moment later as everyone screamed, The Order guards immediately responded with drawn blades and crossbows.
"No!!" Called Tempus.
Unfortunately he was too late as several bolts were fired at the Fire Djinn. Storm's heart sank when the Djinn gave a devilish grin, revealing pointed teeth and Storm realized this is exactly what their quarry wanted.
"Get to cover!!" Called Tempus.
Storm barely managed to grab Aurora in time and duck behind cover before the Fire Djinn exploded.
A wave of fire blew outwards and incinerated anyone caught in the open. Once the Fire disappeared, Storm saw the Djinn standing unharmed in the center of a charred circle.
"I thought you said they can't use their magic without someone asking for it!!?" Exclaimed Storm.
"You didn't think we'd leave our kin defenseless against hunters, did you!? Attacking a Djinn is 'asking' to be attacked in turn." Explained Tempus.
"Great!!" Said Storm sarcastically.
"Leave him to me!! Just make sure the Order doesn't interupt the duel! They'll just get in the way and I can't go all out if I need to worry about witnesses!!
Don't under any circumstances try to attack him!! He won't be able to attack you if you don't strike at him first and you won't be able to harm him anyway!! He's far out of your league!!" Explained Tempus.
"Do I need to remind you that I beat 'you' the last time we fought!!? I'm strong enough!!" Exclaimed Storm.
"No you're not!! Trust me!!" Retorted Tempus.
Before Storm could argue further, Tempus leaped out of cover and began to fire both lightning and water blasts at his opponent to draw his attention.
"Go!! I'll cover you!!" Exclaimed Tempus.
Storm and Aurora ran back to the entrance the moment the fire djinn was focused on Tempus.
A large number of the partygoers had already ran the moment the fighting had started and were gathered outside the palace.
Several squads of guards were currently preparing to charge into the palace to attempt to kill the rampaging monster.
Summoning a spear made of dark magic in one hand, and Fulgur in sword form in the other, he took an on guard position near the doors leading into the palace.
The surviving partygoers screamed and ran as the Guards rushed at Storm. Using both weapons, Storm killed the remaining guards as they reached him.
Once his opponents were slain, he watched the survivors flee with concern.
"Reinforcements probably won't be far!! We'd best prepare ourselves for a counterattack!!" Exclaimed Storm.
Both Storm and Aurora took their true forms in preparation.
"We sho..." started Storm.
The palace behind them suddenly exploded outwards as a red giant broke through the roof, sending debris flying in every direction.
The creature was bigger than most mountains Storm had seen and had bright red skin with glowing golden tattoos across his entire body.
A beard of fire grew from underneath his chin, four muscular arms extended from his torso no hair grew from his head, only 4 massive horns that were each bigger that Storm's entire body combined.
Below his belly was nothing but a swirling cyclone of fire with no legs at all.
He released a loud bellow, challenging the world. Storm was just about to take flight when a second giant broke through what was left of the palace that Storm suspected was Tempus in his true form.
Like his opponent he was as big as a mountain. Small fish like blue scales grew all over his body like armor, several golden runes appeared on his chest, face and arms.
His eyes were 2 blue orbs lacking any iris or other features. No hair grew on his head and his chin was cleanly shaved. Two pointed ears grew from the sides of his head and his lower body was a swirling cyclone of water with lightning arcing through the liquid.
Tempus delivered an uppercut to his fellow Djinn, forcing him back as the entire structure collapsed around them.
Storm grabbed Aurora and just barely managed to pull her away from the fire cyclone that made up it's lower body as it was forced back.
Clenching his fist a lightning bolt flew into Tempus's hand before pulling his arm back and throwing the bolt like a spear.
The bolt struck the fire djinn in the chest and began to electrocute him. Using his two lower arms, he grasped the bolt before pulling it out of his body.
Two curved scimitars made from fire appeared in his upper arms as he rushed at his opponent.
Tempus blocked both swords with his bare hands, steam flowing where his skin made contacted with the weapons.
Unfortunately , Tempus had forgotten about his opponent's lower arms as they delivered a series of hard strikes to his torso, forcing his him back.
A blade of fire appeared above one of his lower arms and he drove it into Tempus's side.
Much to Storm's suprise, Djinn didn't bleed regular blood, instead a strange glowing blue dust left Tempus's side where he had been stabbed.
He fired a lightning bolt directly from his chest that knocked his enemy back, while his opponent was reeling, he placed an hand on the wound to stop the 'bleeding'.
After a few seconds he removed his hand, revealing that his wound had fully healed with no marks or scars.
A loud buzzing sound pulled Storm and Aurora's attention away from the duel as several Order aircraft took off from Stone Helm and responded to the attack.
