Today I arrived early to class.
Why?
Because I…
wanted to see Anto walk in.
BUT I WILL NOT ADMIT THAT TO ANYONE.
I pretended to be busy opening my book.
Even though my eyes glanced at the door every three seconds.
Eli walked in while eating bread.
"Rin, are you waiting for Anto?"
"What?? Of course not!"
"Your book is upside down."
I quickly flipped it over, face burning.
❤️🔥 Anto Walks In — Rina Reacts Instantly
The moment Anto entered the classroom, I straightened my posture.
He smiled…
but very carefully.
Softly.
Like he was afraid I'd be mad.
"M-morning, Rina…"
I answered,
"Morning, Anto."
Soft.
Sweet.
Anto immediately clutched his chest.
"Oh God… this is the best day of my life…"
Tian from behind:
"You said that yesterday too."
Anto:
"But today… it's sweeter… she said good morning… with that soft voice… I—"
I threw an eraser at his head.
"Stop being loud!"
Anto just smiled wider.
🎒 Rina Tries to Get Attention in Weird Ways
First:
I pretended I couldn't open my water bottle.
Even though I could.
I glanced at Anto.
"To… this is really hard."
Anto panicked.
"I'LL OPEN IT!!"
He opened it with too much force—
THE BOTTLE FLEW.
Water splashed onto Tian's face.
Tian screamed.
Juke recorded.
Tey laughed.
Kane wrote: "Accident 129."
I covered my face.
"…sorry, Tian."
Anto dramatically dropped to his knees.
"RINA WANTS TO DRINK!! WHY IS THE WORLD AGAINST US??"
I pulled his ear.
"To… sit."
📚 A Close Moment — And They Both Freeze
Indonesian class.
Anto and I sat together (thanks to a fake "bet rule" invented by Tey).
Anto opened his book.
It fell to the floor.
I bent down to pick it up.
But…
we bent down at the same time.
Our heads almost bumped.
The distance…
was VERY close.
Too close.
So close I could see Anto's cute eyelashes.
Tempting to pull them out.
Anto froze.
I froze.
We both got startled.
"Rina…"
"What…"
"Our heads… almost got into a relationship…"
"A-ANTO BE QUIET."
"I mean… bumped."
"OH. RIGHT. BUMPED."
My face burned.
Anto burned.
From behind, Tey whispered way too loudly:
"That pose is perfect for a couple photo!"
I threw a book at her.
🔥 Anto Becomes Extremely Flustered
Class continued.
Anto couldn't focus.
His pencil dropped.
His ruler dropped.
His bag dropped.
He almost fell off his chair.
Every time I moved slightly, Anto went:
"EH—YES—OK—WHAT—WHY—"
I finally looked at him.
"To… what's wrong with you?"
Anto hugged his book.
"I'm scared you'll be… sweeter today…
I might die…"
I covered my face.
"Anto…
you're ridiculous…"
He smiled.
"That's a compliment, right?"
"NO!!"
💥 Adrian Appears — Again With Annoying Timing
Break time.
Eli and I were in the cafeteria.
Anto searched for seats for us, slipping twice.
Suddenly Adrian approached me.
"Rina. Can we talk for a moment?"
I nodded.
From afar, Anto saw that.
His face instantly looked like a burnt donut.
I walked toward Adrian, but Anto panicked.
"RINAAA!! DON'T GO!! I—I—I CAN TALK TOO!!"
"To. Sit."
He sat.
But the chair slid and he almost fell.
⚡ Adrian Gets Closer to the Truth
Adrian looked at me seriously.
"Rina…
about that bet…"
I swallowed.
"I… still don't have the answer."
Adrian nodded slowly.
"I asked some students from other classes.
They also said…
something feels off."
My chest felt heavy.
Adrian continued,
"I just don't want you to get hurt."
I smiled faintly.
"Adrian… I'm okay."
From afar, Anto fidgeted like a drenched chicken.
Adrian looked into my eyes.
"If you need help… tell me."
I nodded.
And Anto fell off his seat.
😳 Rina Starts Sulking… Because Anto Ignores Her
After Adrian left,
I returned to the table.
Anto pretended to be busy eating.
He was eating rice with chopsticks.
Chaos.
"To."
No answer.
"To…"
Still no answer.
Rice kept falling everywhere.
Finally I grabbed his collar.
"To. Are you mad?"
Anto turned his face away.
"I AM NOT… MAD… I JUST… DON'T KN—"
I handed him a drink.
He accepted it immediately.
Then looked at me.
"…I'm jealous."
I froze.
He quickly covered his own mouth.
"WHY IS MY MOUTH SO HONEST??"
🌸 Rina Starts Fearing Losing Anto
After school,
I walked home alone.
But my steps felt heavy.
I was afraid Adrian would discover the truth first.
I was afraid Anto would distance himself out of panic.
I was afraid I'd be too late to tell him.
I held that plastic flower again.
A tacky flower.
Cheap.
Crackly.
But…
it was given by someone who was slowly filling my thoughts.
I stopped in front of my house.
Looking up at the sky.
"Anto…
please don't run away again…"
