~Alexander's POV~
I raised a brow, a hint of curiosity in my voice. "Play? What kind of play?"
Alis leaned closer, his voice dropping to a whisper.
"Adult play... and I promise, I'll be quiet."
I looked at him for a moment, the tension in my chest easing slightly. I smiled, but even then, something still lingered at the back of my mind.
"I know, I know," I said, reaching out to stroke his cheek. "We'll do everything you want… but can you tell me what you and my father talked about first? You said he called you, and I can't stop thinking about it."
"Baby… can we talk about it after?" Alis said with a playful pout on his lips. "Don't ruin the mood, babe."
"Please," I said, my voice turning serious. "Let's talk about it now. I need to clear my mind so I can be fully here with you… please, babe."
The truth was, I was terrified. I thought my father might have called him to tell him that my mother had rejected him… that she would never accept him.
