Chapter 174 - Three Chuunibyou Unite

The sudden turn of events stunned everyone present.

They all stared blankly at the two figures who had just appeared.

The two stood back to back and struck exaggerated poses.

"The Crimson Flame Envoy—looks like we arrived just in time."

"Indeed. Soldier Ninja, today we purge evil and restore justice."

Rappa lowered the brim of her hat, radiating the aura of a master.

"Wow! It's Sister Rappa and Sister No.11! So cool! So amazing!"

Klee's eyes sparkled.

This kind of entrance was awesome.

She wanted one too.

Seeing that Klee appreciated their performance, the two turned simultaneously.

Rappa crouched while No.11 crossed her arms and leaned sideways.

"We are…"

"The Ninja Trio."

"Messengers of Justice like the Wind."

Pfft.

Robin and Kujou Sara both nearly spat blood.

You can't even agree on your team name—maybe stop trying to look cool.

"Wow! Ninjas and Justice Messengers!"

The children didn't care.

To them, this was incredibly cool.

As Klee stopped attacking and instead gathered around Rappa and No.11, Sara quietly stepped backward.

She was preparing to escape.

Even one of these kids was already too much.

Now two more chuunibyou had arrived.

If she didn't run now, she might actually get defeated here.

Whoosh!

An arrow suddenly landed in front of her path.

"Oh ho ho ho~!"

"I am the Prinzessin der Verurteilung, Fischl! By the decree of fate I descend upon this land! Minions of the Demon King—submit before the sacred lightning of my judgment!"

Another figure appeared on the rooftop, striking yet another dramatic pose.

Sara had felt earlier that something was missing.

Now everything was complete.

"The Dark Thunder Envoy—you arrived too late," Rappa said. "If the Crimson Wing and I had not arrived in time, the Pale Songstress would already have perished. Next time, follow the team's command."

"Exactly," No.11 added. "Night Raven Ninja, Soldier Ninja is correct. You should coordinate with us."

Robin's head spun.

What on earth were they even saying?

Was "Crimson Wing" referring to Rappa?

Weren't you just calling her "Crimson Flame Envoy" earlier?

And "Pale Songstress" must be referring to me, right?

This was incredibly embarrassing.

Robin couldn't understand how they could say such cringe lines with completely straight faces.

And they weren't even consistent with the titles.

Everyone was just making things up.

Fischl leapt down from the roof and approached them, flipping her hair dramatically.

"Hmph. Why should this princess cooperate with you? You two vassals should be obeying my commands instead."

"Incorrect," Rappa replied, waving a hand. "I am the Hero Ninja. You should listen to me."

No.11 also added her opinion.

"The Crimson Horn Strategist is correct. We should follow her."

"Ridiculous," Fischl declared. "How could this princess obey her vassals—"

No.11 frowned deeply.

"Dark Night Envoy, will you abandon us as the Stone Sage and Wind Melody once did?"

"Hmph. This princess shall continue alongside you… but remember not to overstep your station."

Robin, who had been listening the whole time, looked extremely confused.

What were they even talking about?

Still, she managed to extract one key point.

Rappa was the Hero.

Apparently she once had two teammates.

But those teammates had abandoned them.

In Robin's opinion, they had probably left because they couldn't endure three people who refused to speak normally.

She could only sigh inwardly.

Chuunibyou was terrifying.

Three chuunibyou together were even worse.

"…Um… the Demon General already escaped," Robin finally said.

While the three were arguing about who should lead the team, Kujou Sara had already slipped away.

She needed to inform the General.

There was a Hero here.

They needed to eliminate them immediately.

Klee might be strong, but Sara didn't believe she could defeat the General.

Once the General arrived, victory would be guaranteed.

Sara ran quickly until she reached the outskirts of the village.

"General!"

"A Hero has appeared in the village. At least two of them!"

"Oh?"

Raiden Ei's eyes lit up.

She hadn't expected such a small village to contain two Heroes.

"Who are they?"

"One should be Klee… and the Crimson Flame Envoy."

Raiden Ei: "???"

What are you even saying?

She knew Klee—the little girl from Mondstadt.

But who was this "Crimson Flame Envoy"?

Was that even a player?

"…Or possibly Crimson Wing."

Now who was that?

Raiden Ei rolled her eyes.

"Speak normally."

"Ah—!"

Sara suddenly realized how strange she sounded.

She quickly corrected herself.

"The other Hero is probably Rappa."

Oh.

Rappa.

Now that made sense.

What were those ridiculous nicknames earlier?

"Come. Let's go there."

"This time we must capture the Hero."

Last time Kamisato Ayaka had escaped.

She was still annoyed about that.

This time she wouldn't let the Hero escape.

"Yes!"

Sara immediately led the way.

The two headed toward the village.

When they entered the village, Raiden Ei saw a large group of players gathered together.

They seemed to be arguing about something.

Only Robin seemed to be urging them to leave quickly.

"Sister No.11, I don't want to be called Scarlet Honey Heart."

"Alright, I'll give Klee a different name."

"Sister No.11, I don't want to be called Cat Eternal Contract either."

"I'll change yours too."

"Hmph. Soldier Hero isn't good at naming things. Klee, you'll be called Red Ninja from now on."

"What about me? Hook wants a nickname too!"

"You can be Yellow Ninja."

"Eww! That sounds terrible!"

"Everyone, could you please run away first?!"

"The Demon King's army is still outside!"

Robin was on the verge of tears.

Did these people have any sense of priorities?

This was not the time to debate nicknames.

Kujou Sara had definitely gone to call reinforcements.

And Robin had realized something terrifying.

Sara might not even be the Demon General.

If a Demon General got beaten that badly by a group of children, it would be far too embarrassing.

So if Sara went to call someone…

There was only one possibility.

The real Demon General was coming.

"Hmph. You didn't run."

At that moment, Raiden Ei and Kujou Sara appeared.

There were no monsters behind them.

Just the two of them walking forward calmly.

"…You."

"The Sovereign of Thunder."

That single phrase made Raiden Ei freeze.

What?

She was the Electro Archon.

But "Sovereign of Thunder" sounded extremely embarrassing.

"…Huh? It's Sister Ei!"

"Are you a Demon General?"

Klee asked innocently.

Ei felt momentarily awkward.

What was wrong with this little kid?

Shouldn't she be afraid?

Why was she curious instead?

"That's right."

"I am the Demon General."

"None of you will escape today."

Raiden Ei smiled confidently.

Look at those other Demon Generals.

Three of them together barely eliminated Paimon.

Pathetic.

But she was different.

She could capture two Heroes at once.

What was that called?

That was the difference in strength.
