Chapter 231 - You’re All About to Die and Still Haven’t Noticed?!

Even after spending 5 points, Bronya felt no regret at all.

Right now, she only wanted one thing—

To eliminate Seele.

You dared bully me? Let's see how I return the favor.

Her luck this round had been terrible. She barely fished up anything useful. To make matters worse, she had run into Seele midway.

At first, she thought they could team up like before, working together against other players.

But instead—

Seele had pulled out a weapon.

A massive cleaver.

Meanwhile, Bronya only had a wooden stick.

She didn't stand a chance.

If not for another player passing by—forcing Seele to switch targets—Bronya would have already been eliminated.

Even then, Seele chased her for quite a while.

…Their bond really had faded.

But since Seele struck first, Bronya wouldn't hold back either.

"Wait here a moment."

She said to Valerius before returning to her island, tinkering with the missile.

"Go blow up Seele."

Whoosh!

The missile ignited, flames trailing behind as it shot into the sky, locking onto its target and speeding off.

"Hmph. That's what you get for bullying me."

After launching it, Bronya returned to Valerius's island and sat down beside him.

"Huh? You're not going to keep playing?"

"No. Once Seele is eliminated, I'll forfeit."

She had no points. Competing for victory was impossible.

Better to take revenge, then quit.

And… take this chance to spend time with Valerius.

She'd been too busy lately.

"Oh? Sounds good!"

Valerius grinned, pulling her into his arms and kissing her cheek.

"Deal. Once Seele's out, you quit."

He had already decided—once she forfeited, he'd keep her on his island to keep him company.

Being alone all the time was boring.

"Mm."

Resting her head on his shoulder, Bronya quietly waited for the explosion.

Meanwhile, a large cluster of islands had gathered, forming a massive floating landmass.

"What's your deal?"

"And what about you?"

At the front stood Seele, holding her cleaver. Behind her were Gepard, Cocolia, Serval, Natasha, and other Belobog players.

"You actually teamed up? Shameless."

On the other side, Jing Yuan led the Xianzhou players.

"You're no different."

"Of course we are. We just happened to run into each other."

Seele casually dismissed it.

They just met along the way—what was wrong with traveling together?

"Oh my… saying it like that almost makes me blush."

Tingyun rolled her eyes.

Let's not pretend—you're clearly teaming up.

"Hmph. Enough talk. Weapons out."

Since they had already met, there was nothing more to say.

Fight.

Turn them all into points.

The Xianzhou side wasn't afraid either. Weapons were drawn.

Just as the tension peaked—

Another island slowly drifted nearby.

"My, what are you all doing?"

Phantylia watched the two sides with interest.

"None of your business. Leave now—don't get caught in the crossfire."

Yunli raised her bow, making her stance clear.

Try anything, and you'll be eliminated first.

"Oh my, how frightening. Why so hostile?"

Patting her chest, Phantylia retreated slightly—but she had no intention of leaving.

Maybe she could pick up some scraps after the fight.

But Cocolia narrowed her eyes and called out—

"Why don't you join us?"

She even gave Phantylia a meaningful look.

This is Belobog territory. My daughter is with Valerius.

You know what to do.

"…I'm not much of a fighter. I'll pass."

Phantylia waved her hands quickly.

If she joined Belobog, the Xianzhou side would definitely focus her down.

"No need to fight," Jing Yuan suddenly spoke. "How about we call a truce?"

Despite appearances, neither side had actually made a move.

A large-scale battle here would be disastrous. Too many players would be eliminated at once.

If all those points went to one person, maybe it'd be worth it.

But in a chaotic fight? The points would be scattered.

Not worth the risk.

"What kind of truce?"

"Either we go our separate ways… or we form an alliance. Any players we eliminate, we split the points."

Cocolia's eyes lit up.

They had fewer than ten people. The same went for the other side.

Individually, they were small.

But together—

They could contend for the top three.

"Alright. Each side picks one player. All points go to those two. What do you think?"

"Agreed."

Jing Yuan nodded and turned to his group.

"Who wants the role?"

Cocolia did the same.

"Who's confident in winning this?"

Then she muttered quietly—

"Where's Bronya?"

Only Seele flushed slightly, lowering her head in silence.

She regretted it now.

They had started as individuals—but now alliances were forming.

In the end, after discussion—

They chose two representatives.

Gepard.

Tingyun.

Everyone else would hunt.

Those two would secure the final hits and collect the points.

"…How boring."

Seeing the alliance form, Phantylia turned to leave.

She had wanted a big fight.

Instead, it ended like this.

"…Hm?"

Suddenly, she noticed something in the distance.

A small black dot.

Rapidly approaching.

Trailing flames.

For some reason, a chill ran down her spine.

A sense of imminent death.

As it drew closer—

She saw it clearly.

Her eyes widened.

"…We're dead."

Looking back at the two groups still negotiating—

Phantylia covered her face.

"You're all about to die, and you're still making deals?!"
