Some proved themselves honest during the war and can remain in their positions, while others abused their authority and will have to be replaced. There are villages that suffered heavy losses and will need food, medicine, and help rebuilding. Roads and trade routes must be restored, and we've already received requests from people seeking refuge within Lioreth's borders."
A thoughtful expression crossed his face.
"Before we allow anyone to settle here permanently, we'll need to investigate them carefully. Some are simply families looking for peace after the war. Others may have different intentions. We can't afford to overlook that."
