Ding! In view of the critical danger currently facing the Host, all three choices may be selected simultaneously. Their rewards will also be issued in advance!
Aiden froze when he heard the system's announcement.
Then his face lit up with uncontrollable joy.
"Hahahahaha!"
"Good!"
"This is exactly what I needed!"
Without the power of the Creation Plates, how was Aiden supposed to fight Arceus?
But now that the system was granting the rewards in advance, it seemed he might actually be able to complete all three choices.
Just imagining it was enough to make his blood boil.
What would happen if the strongest Legendary Pokémon gained the power of all eighteen Plates?
Could it become a match for Arceus?
Aiden did not know.
There was only one way to find out.
"System!"
"I choose Options One, Two, and Three!"
Ding! Congratulations, Host, on making your selections. Rewards will now be distributed in advance!
Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have obtained the Sky Plate, Stone Plate, and Iron Plate!
Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have obtained the Jewel of Life, formed from the Zap Plate, Earth Plate, Splash Plate, Meadow Plate, and Draco Plate!
Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have obtained the Pixie Plate, Spooky Plate, Toxic Plate, Fist Plate, Icicle Plate, Blank Plate, Dread Plate, and Insect Plate!
Ding! Since the Host previously obtained the Meadow Plate, Psychic Plate, and Flame Plate, there is now one additional Meadow Plate available for unrestricted use!
Hearing the continuous stream of system notifications, Aiden was stunned.
Creation Plates could be mass-produced now?
There could actually be an entirely separate full set?
Aiden was ecstatic.
It was only a shame that he did not possess a particularly powerful Grass-type Legendary Pokémon.
The strongest Grass-type he had was Sceptile.
With a wave of his hand, all eighteen Creation Plates appeared at once.
They floated in the sky, illuminating heaven and earth with radiant light.
The enraged Arceus suddenly fell silent.
Its fury gave way to disbelief.
"You..."
"How do you possess the Jewel of Life?"
"And why do you have so many Creation Plates?"
"Who are you?"
Even Arceus itself was completely dumbfounded.
What was wrong with this human?
There was only one creator deity in the entire world.
That meant there should only be eighteen Creation Plates.
So why did this human possess a complete set of eighteen?
Arceus itself currently had only thirteen!
Who exactly was this man?
Why did he seem even more like the creator deity than Arceus?
Aiden raised his hand.
The eighteen Creation Plates flew toward the beings most compatible with them.
The Draco Plate chose Mega Rayquaza.
The Sky Plate chose Mega Black Rayquaza.
The Spooky Plate chose Giratina.
The Iron Plate chose Dialga.
The Splash Plate chose Palkia.
The Earth Plate chose Groudon.
The Meadow Plate chose Mega Sceptile.
The Zap Plate chose Zapdos.
The Flame Plate chose Moltres.
The Icicle Plate chose Articuno.
Aiden used the Blank Plate and Toxic Plate to strengthen himself.
The Fist Plate chose Mega Lucario.
The Stone Plate chose Regirock.
The Insect Plate chose Mega Scizor.
The Pixie Plate chose the elder Gardevoir sister—Mega Gardevoir.
The Psychic Plate chose Mega Mewtwo Y.
The Dread Plate chose Mega Absol.
Kyogre stared.
"What about me?"
"What about me?"
"I'm an enormous Water-type Legendary Pokémon! How do I not get the Water Plate?"
Aiden could only shrug.
There was nothing he could do.
Palkia possessed both Water and Dragon typing, and its base strength was higher than Kyogre's.
Thus, standing before Arceus were Aiden and sixteen Legendary or ordinary Pokémon empowered by Creation Plates.
Each could now borrow the power of creation itself.
"Mega Black Rayquaza, use Dragon Ascent!"
"Mega Rayquaza, use Draco Meteor!"
"Giratina, use Shadow Force!"
"Palkia, use Spacial Rend!"
"Dialga, use Roar of Time!"
"Groudon, use Precipice Blades!"
"Mega Sceptile, use Solar Beam!"
"Zapdos, use Thunder!"
"Articuno, use Ice Beam!"
"Moltres, use Blast Burn!"
"Mega Lucario, keep firing Aura Sphere!"
"Regirock, use Stone Edge!"
"Mega Scizor, use U-turn!"
"Mega Gardevoir, use Dazzling Gleam!"
"Mega Absol, use Dark Pulse!"
"Mewtwo, use Psystrike!"
Countless rainbow-colored lights erupted across the battlefield.
Sixteen attacks, each enhanced by the power of a Creation Plate, surged toward the creator deity.
Arceus immediately raised its barrier.
Yet under the combined assault of the empowered gods, cracks appeared across it for the first time.
Giratina's eyes turned blood-red.
It activated Shadow Force and vanished.
In the next instant, it emerged behind Arceus, its entire body wrapped in Ghost-type energy.
It slammed into the barrier with all its strength.
Boom!
The barrier shattered completely.
Giratina seized the opportunity and struck Arceus directly with Shadow Claw.
Now that both sides possessed the power of Plates of the same type, Giratina was only slightly weaker.
It had genuinely gained the strength to fight Arceus head-on.
And for the sake of revenge, how could Giratina possibly hold back?
When Mew saw that Aiden now possessed enough strength to contend with Arceus, a rebellious impulse immediately surfaced.
It joined the attack against its own creator.
Kyogre also unleashed Origin Pulse after Origin Pulse.
Seeing how resentful it looked, Aiden eventually allowed Palkia to enjoy the Splash Plate for a while before transferring it to Kyogre.
At last, Kyogre also gained the power to beat up Arceus.
The Sky Plate was similarly passed to Lugia in turn.
The Psychic Plate was lent to Mew, Latios, and Latias one after another.
Even the Draco Plate changed wielders repeatedly.
After all, Arceus was currently most vulnerable to Electric-, Dragon-, Grass-, Ground-, and Water-type attacks.
Giratina now wielded the Draco Plate.
A single sweeping Dragon Pulse blasted Arceus out of the sky.
Just moments ago, Arceus had been beating them like a father disciplining his children.
Now their positions had been completely reversed.
Everyone present stared with wide eyes.
First, they were shocked that Aiden possessed so many Legendary Pokémon.
Second, they could hardly believe that he could command those Legendaries to wield the power of the Creation Plates and suppress Arceus itself.
This was Arceus.
The creator deity of the Pokémon world.
The origin of all existence.
And it had just been beaten to the ground.
