Chapter 184 - Chapter 184: I Shall Enter the Battle in Gundam Style (Bonus)

This is the bonus chapter for reaching 750 Powerstones.

Zeke analyzed the situation, "With Sanguinius holding the line in the sky, Lion, you'd better pay more attention to the situation on the ground."

Currently, there were three factions fighting on the ground.

The loyalist Dark Angels, who wanted to destroy Wyrmwood because this planet held the secret of their Legion's past rebellion.

The Blood Angels dropped by Sanguinius, who were assisting their Dark Angel allies.

And Angron with his World Eaters army, summoned by Abaddon, whose sole goal was to slaughter everything in sight.

Hordes of World Eaters raised their roaring chainaxes high, rushing toward the charging Dark Angels.

The bloodthirsty Khornate worshippers would even kill their own when driven mad; they collided with each other, descending into absolute chaos.

"Blood for the Blood God!"

Leading them, Angron let out a war cry loud enough to shatter visors and eardrums.

His sun-blotting, fleshy daemonic wings beat furiously as he soared into the air. A Thunderhawk gunship attempted to bank away from his flight path, only to be cleaved in two with a single strike.

The Blood Angels who had taken up firing positions concentrated their firepower on the Daemon Primarch. Successive explosions, las-beams, and plasma blasts instantly engulfed him.

Angron emerged completely unscathed.

Bursting through the barrage, he charged from the side of a tower right into the midst of the Blood Angels. He impaled several battle-brothers with his daemonsword, then swung Spinegrinder to chop several more to pieces.

As he abruptly spun around, his massive wings swatted away several more Blood Angels, hurling them out through the breach in the tower's side.

"Skulls for the Skull Throne!"

Just as Angron howled at the top of his lungs, a countering war cry echoed from the sky.

"For Sanguinius, and for the Emperor!"

Commander Dante and his Sanguinary Guard descended around Angron on wings of fire, surrounding him.

Angron was like a bloody whirlwind.

Eager to kill every warrior who opposed him, he spun, hacked, stomped, and roared without a moment's pause.

Khorne's blessing buffed Angron as his massive axe cleaved toward Dante.

The Blood Angels cried out in alarm, wanting their Chapter Master to quickly escape.

The Dark Angels commander felt deeply distressed, desperately wanting to rescue his Blood Angel allies.

Then, a scene that shocked everyone unfolded: Dante raised both hands high, and though his body was pushed back several steps, he forcefully blocked Angron's giant axe head-on.

The Warden's modification had taken effect.

The massive stats gave Dante the chance to fight Angron, but the gap between a Space Marine and a fallen Primarch was still a chasm that could not be easily crossed.

Let alone counterattacking, Dante had to expend all his strength just to defend.

Eventually, after several rounds of relentless tag-teaming, Dante grew weaker and weaker, until he spotted a familiar silhouette in the crowd.

Zeke.

Zeke waved his hand at Dante, gesturing for him to quickly retreat.

As reassuring as ever, Dante thought, recalling Zeke's track record of defeating the Tyranids on Baal, and let out a sigh of relief.

Before Angron's next round of attacks, Dante intentionally did not dodge.

Using the kinetic force of Angron's giant axe, Dante allowed himself to be sent flying through the air, making a beautiful tactical retreat.

Angron threw his head back and howled at the sky to celebrate his victory.

The Dark Angels commander let out a roar of grief; the Blood Angels Chapter Master had fallen before the Daemon Primarch, and he could only watch helplessly.

Angron resumed his slaughter of the Dark Angels. Just as the commander let out a desperate roar, gripping his bolter tightly and preparing to fight to the death...

A pervasive mist obscured their vision, and a few streaks of green, completely out of place in the surrounding environment, quietly appeared.

A tall, cloaked figure stepped out of the mist.

The confusion of all the Dark Angels present was replaced by awe. Their gene-seed was cheering in joyous resonance with the reality before them.

Primarch Lion El'Jonson had returned to his sons in their hour of greatest need.

The battle-brothers of the Deathwing shouted their oaths in pleasant surprise.

The news spread among the ranks of the Dark Angels. The survivors of the strike force, under immense inspiration, charged into the enemy horde with a hundredfold fanaticism.

On the top of the tower, even Angron temporarily halted his movements, staring unblinkingly at his former brother.

Seeing the bare-handed Lion who had yet to obtain a weapon, Zeke remembered the Emperor's words: "When the time comes, you will naturally know."

Zeke looked at the Emperor's Shield in his backpack, but didn't hand it over. Instead, he swapped it for a standard MC Shield, plus an enchanted Netherite Sword.

To compensate for his guilty conscience, Zeke also temporarily lent the golden dandelion to the Lion.

Only after handing the shield over did Zeke realize in hindsight: it seemed the MC Shield wasn't really inferior to the Emperor's Shield either. Did he actually take a loss or make a profit?

Upon taking the golden dandelion given by Zeke, a warm, gentle power surged in from his palm.

Among the white hair, a few strands that had originally lost their luster regained a faint golden hue.

He clenched his fists; power transmitted from his fingertips back to his brain, incredibly clear and undeniable.

Angron's roar quickly broke the stalemate. He charged at the Lion, the blades in their hands showering bright sparks with every clash.

The Lion exchanged blows back and forth with Angron while retreating toward the edge of the tall tower.

When he discovered that the shield Zeke gave him could actually completely absorb attacks without fail, he adopted a combat style heavily tilted towards defense, seemingly preparing to drag down and exhaust his frenzied opponent.

In the gap between two sword swings, the Lion also took the opportunity to glance at the Dark Angels commander, locking eyes with him.

The Lion took a risk to draw away the ferocious Daemon Primarch. This not only created an opportunity for his sons but also for the Blood Angels.

Commander Dante still lay in the ruins, his life seemingly "hanging by a thread". The Dark Angels bore a debt that had to be repaid, even if it cost their lives.

The commander received the unspoken mission. He entered the ruins, hoisted Dante—who was pretending to have his eyes closed—onto his shoulder, and arduously left the area.

Dante was rescued, much to the simultaneous relief of the Lion and Zeke.

The Lion was relieved that the Dark Angels wouldn't owe the Blood Angels a favor.

Zeke, on the other hand, was relieved because he finally didn't have to hold back anymore.

Taking a step forward, Zeke stood tall between Angron and the Lion.

"I'm not interrupting your brotherly reunion, am I?" Zeke pulled out the Create mod's Cart Assembler, which was carrying the Ender Dragon Titan.

The moment that inconspicuous block touched the ground, it rapidly expanded, and a two-hundred-meter-tall steel behemoth rose from the earth.

The body of the Ender Dragon Titan propped up the sky. The ruins of the tower were crushed beneath its feet like toy building blocks.

In front of this behemoth, Angron was like a mere ant.

The weapons in the hands of the Dark Angels unconsciously lowered. They had never seen a Titan that had undergone such an excessively scaled-up modification.

In the distance, Dante, being carried on the commander's back, had a faint, almost imperceptible smile surface on the corners of his mouth.

Dante was long used to this. In fact, a surge of secret delight welled up in his heart: every time this kid showed up, he felt a strong urge to retire.
