Chapter 115 - Chapter 115 -- World Lord–Level Tongtian Mountain

Bai Yue suddenly halted in the middle of Primordial Chaos City's broad avenue.

His gaze lingered on a nearby mansion—spacious, dignified, unmistakably belonging to a Grandmaster. Only then did he recall something he had long since set aside: by right, he too could claim such a residence.

According to the long-standing rules, anyone who cleared the 18th level of the Tongtian Bridge would obtain permanent residency in Primordial Chaos City—along with a mansion, the right to establish a sect, and the title of Grandmaster.

Strictly speaking, ever since becoming the direct disciple of the City Lord, Bai Yue already possessed permanent residency. Even without challenging the Tongtian Bridge again, no one could bar him from staying.

But a mansion was a mansion.

And a sect was a sect.

There was no reason not to take what was his.

Without hesitation, Bai Yue's consciousness descended upon the Tongtian Bridge Plane.

Within that tranquil plane, at the heart of a beautiful floating island, Ba Fen had stood guard for countless epochs—silent, steadfast, unchanged.

Swish.

Bai Yue appeared.

Ba Fen's eyes lit up immediately, a smile spreading across his weathered face.

"Your Highness Bai Yue. It truly has been a long time."

"It has," Bai Yue laughed lightly. "I missed you, Ba Fen, so I came."

Ba Fen chuckled, then eyed him with interest.

"Your Highness seems… confident today. Which level do you intend to challenge?"

"Whichever I can reach," Bai Yue replied calmly. "Ideally, I'd like to exchange a few moves with the guardian of the 21st level."

Ba Fen froze.

"The twenty-first?" His brows rose. "Last time, Your Highness stopped at the sixteenth. To even face the twenty-first, one must pass the twentieth first. Could it be that—"

Before he finished, Bai Yue was already moving.

On the Tongtian Bridge, Bai Yue advanced like an unstoppable tide.

Seventeenth.

Eighteenth.

Nineteenth.

Twentieth.

He cleared them one after another, without pause, without delay, until he stood before the twenty-first checkpoint.

"The guardian of the twenty-first level represents the law comprehension of a Universe Exalt," Bai Yue murmured.

"I want to see what happens when World Lord–level world power collides with Exalt-level laws."

Endless darkness surrounded him.

The bridge stretched forward into silence, vanishing into the void. Bai Yue's heart was like a frozen volcano—utterly calm on the surface, yet seething beneath with restrained battle intent.

Champions—peak, extreme, invincible—all stopped at the twentieth level.

Why?

Because the step from twentieth to twenty-first was not a step at all.

It was a chasm.

The difference between a Champion and a Universe Exalt was greater than the gap from the first level to the twentieth combined.

A low voice echoed from the black-hole celestial body ahead.

"Choose your opponent: Martial Artist, Controller, or Illusionist. Defeat him, and you may pass the twenty-first level."

"Martial Artist," Bai Yue answered, gripping his gray-white long staff.

Whoosh—

Black motes poured forth from above the black hole, condensing into an ape-man clad in black armor and mask, also wielding a long staff.

"Your Highness Bai Yue," the guardian said politely, suspended above the abyss.

"It is my honor to face a World Lord challenger."

"And mine," Bai Yue replied with a faint smile.

"I must inform Your Highness," the guardian continued calmly, "that without complete Space Law comprehension, this level cannot be passed."

Bai Yue nodded.

"Please make the first move," the guardian said, elegance intact. "If I strike first, Your Highness will have no opportunity."

Bai Yue did not hesitate.

The staff pierced the void, arriving above the guardian's head in an instant—violent, decisive, unstoppable.

"Seal."

The word fell like a decree.

Invisible bindings slammed down. Space froze. Bai Yue halted mid-strike, as if time itself had been paused.

"This is the power of complete Space Law," the guardian said serenely.

"To reach this point is already remarkable, but—"

His words cut off abruptly.

The sealed space trembled.

A noble, sovereign will surged from Bai Yue's body. World power roared in response. The frozen staff shadow condensed further, gaining terrifying substance.

Boom.

The sealed space shattered.

The staff descended once more.

"Kill!"

The guardian's eyes sharpened. His staff lashed out, offense overwhelming offense. Bai Yue's attack collapsed instantly, and the counterstrike smashed straight through his body.

There was no suspense.

Bai Yue was obliterated—life core and all.

The challenge ended in failure.

Bai Yue felt no discouragement.

This was not his true strength.

The Virtual Universe could not fully simulate his near-thousandfold gene level, nor the Sky Horn Ant techniques alien to this universe. The body used here was merely an ordinary human shell.

Having already come this far, Bai Yue decided not to leave matters half-finished.

He turned next to Tongtian Mountain.

Within the Tongtian Mountain Plane, three colossal peaks rose heavenward, each more imposing than the last. Bai Yue flew straight toward the tallest—Primitive Tongtian Mountain.

As a member of the Primitive Mystical Region, he could challenge it directly.

At the mountain's base, three figures sat cross-legged, apparently immersed in some obscure game.

"White-skinned ape, someone's here."

"Someone's here."

"Oi, get up."

They rose stiffly.

The bull-headed man grinned broadly.

"So it's Your Highness Bai Yue. Challenging Primitive Tongtian Mountain already? This is World Lord level, you know."

The ape-man laughed.

"Bull-head, what nonsense. Is there anything Bai Yue Your Highness cannot do?"

The snake woman smiled, eyes like flowing water.

"Shall we begin, Your Highness?"

"Come," Bai Yue said calmly.

The next instant, a mental phantom descended.

A colossal staff shadow swept through—

The bull-headed man was torn apart.

The ape-man was crushed.

The snake woman vanished under a single sweep.

The foot-of-the-mountain trial ended instantly.

Bai Yue ascended without pause.

The mid-mountain level fell just as easily.

At the summit, he encountered resistance—but when Bai Yue's will truly ignited, vast and sovereign like the Primordial Universe itself, the outcome was never in doubt.

"Congratulations, Bai Yue Your Highness," the revived guardians said with awe.

"You have passed the World Lord–Level Primitive Tongtian Mountain."

"In Human history, any who achieve this are peerless geniuses, appearing only once in tens of millions of eras."

Bai Yue stood at the peak, overlooking endless land.

World Lord–Level Primitive Tongtian Mountain—

The benchmark of all geniuses in Human history.

He had conquered it.

Yet Bai Yue's eyes remained calm.

"A genius is only a genius," he murmured.

"Not yet a true powerhouse."

"One day…

I will stand at the summit of the universe itself."

Swish.

He vanished.

The news exploded outward.

Within the Human Race, within the universe, within hidden shadows—

Bai Yue had cleared the World Lord–Level Primitive Tongtian Mountain.

Those who doubted him fell silent.

Those who resented him were forced to bow their heads.

And in distant halls, among alien powers, cold eyes turned toward the same name.
