Chapter 123 - Chapter 123 -- Xeon Arcana

After stabilizing his Undying realm, Bai Yue left his palace and headed straight toward the residence of Primordial Chaos City Lord.

Passing through the dense cluster of palaces within the Thousand Treasure River territory, he crossed vast distances in just a few spatial shifts. When he arrived before the main hall, several Undying attendants and even Universe Exalts were already stationed outside.

The moment Bai Yue appeared—

A suffocating pressure spread outward.

"So strong…"

"This god power…"

Two Universe Exalts in the distance stiffened, their expressions tightening. As for the Undying attendants, their knees nearly gave way, instinctively lowering their heads. Even without deliberate release, Bai Yue's divine aura carried a weight that far surpassed ordinary Immortals.

The main hall doors stood open.

Inside, it looked as though endless Chaos churned—no matter how one stared, nothing could be clearly seen.

"Come in."

A calm voice echoed from within.

Bai Yue stepped forward, passing through the Chaos-shrouded interior until he reached the depths of the great hall. At its center stood Primordial Chaos City Lord, hands clasped behind his back, his gaze already fixed on him.

"Teacher," Bai Yue said, bowing respectfully.

Primordial Chaos City Lord did not reply immediately. Instead, he studied Bai Yue carefully, his gaze lingering longer than usual—as if trying to see through layers of concealment.

"You've entered Undying?" he finally asked.

"Yes," Bai Yue answered.

"Good."

"No… very good."

Primordial Chaos City Lord nodded repeatedly, genuine satisfaction evident on his face.

"You've exceeded even my expectations," he said slowly. "Among all the disciples I've guided, very few have progressed at this pace. You are no longer merely promising—you are already a true pillar-in-the-making."

"What are your next plans?"

"I intend to find a suitable location and establish my God Kingdom," Bai Yue replied.

"That is wise." Primordial Chaos City Lord nodded. "The space interlayers are unfathomable. Choose a deeper, more remote region. The farther from prying eyes, the better."

"Understood."

Primordial Chaos City Lord lifted his hand lightly. "Then go."

Bai Yue did not move immediately.

Instead, he smiled faintly and said, "Teacher, it was you who obtained the Blood Sea water for me. Without it, the Blood Sea clone would not exist—and without that, I could not have broken through so smoothly. This breakthrough owes much to your effort."

With that, Bai Yue bowed deeply.

Primordial Chaos City Lord paused, then waved his sleeve, lifting Bai Yue back up effortlessly.

"Your success comes from your own foundation," he said calmly. "I merely removed an obstacle. If you truly wish to repay me, then grow stronger—strong enough to intimidate an entire region of the universe. That alone will justify everything."

"Teacher may say so," Bai Yue replied softly, "but this disciple will not forget it."

He paused briefly, then continued, "Teacher likely already suspects that I possess a… special opportunity. The core cannot be spoken of. But there is something I can share—cultivation guidance."

Primordial Chaos City Lord's eyes sharpened.

"Oh?" he said with interest. "Then let me see."

Bai Yue raised his right hand.

A crystal floated out, translucent and brilliant, radiating an unmistakable Time–Space Origin Law aura.

The instant Primordial Chaos City Lord sensed it, his heart trembled.

Just sensing the law fluctuations alone caused fragments of inspiration to bloom in his mind. A powerful urge surged up—an instinctive desire to grasp the crystal and claim it.

Yet after billions of years of tempering, he suppressed that impulse with ease.

He extended two fingers, pinching the crystal in midair, and turned his gaze back to Bai Yue.

"Explain."

"Teacher should understand," Bai Yue said calmly. "Some things cannot be spoken aloud."

Primordial Chaos City Lord frowned slightly, then injected his god power into the crystal.

Information flooded in.

Even with the terrifying computation speed of a Universe Lord, he froze for several breaths before managing to roughly skim through it once.

His expression changed.

Solemn.

Astonished.

Unbelieving.

When the transmission ended, he stared at Bai Yue, countless questions rising at once.

"What is recorded here about—#$#&…"

His voice faltered.

Only a few syllables escaped before the rest vanished, as if forcibly erased.

Bai Yue shook his head inwardly. As expected.

Some truths were forbidden by the Primordial Universe itself. Even speech was blocked.

Primordial Chaos City Lord also realized what had happened. His gaze lifted toward the void, sensing the familiar, oppressive consciousness hidden beyond perception.

That aura…

He had witnessed it once before.

Countless years ago, he had personally seen his own Teacher suppressed beneath it.

Even now, at the very origin of the Virtual Universe, that presence still lingered.

Understanding dawned.

The crystal in his hand suddenly felt heavier than a mountain.

He took a deep breath, rephrased his words carefully, and spoke again.

"This… is not merely a surprise," he said slowly. "It is a tremendous contribution—to me, and to the entire Human Race."

His voice carried a faint tremor.

"I cannot evaluate its full value yet. I must convene the high-level members of the Human Race and discuss it. Only then can an appropriate reward be decided."

"There is no need for reward," Bai Yue replied. "This is something offered willingly. Teacher may handle it as you see fit."

Primordial Chaos City Lord waved his hand decisively.

"Go establish your God Kingdom first. Other matters will wait until I consult the Universe Lords."

"Yes."

Bai Yue bowed and withdrew.

After Bai Yue left, Primordial Chaos City Lord lowered his gaze to the crystal once more.

"To have accepted Bai Yue as a disciple…" he murmured, "is my fortune—and the fortune of the Human Race."

Without hesitation, he immediately convened a high-level meeting within the Virtual Universe.

Human Race High-Level Council

Inside a vast plane of endless darkness, a simple divine hall floated silently.

One by one, figures appeared around the long stone table.

At the head—

Great Axe Founder, the current strongest existence of the Human Race.

"Chaos," Great Axe asked, "why summon everyone so suddenly?"

Primordial Chaos City Lord smiled.

"It's good news."

A collective sigh of relief passed through the hall.

"Just now," he continued, "my direct disciple Bai Yue provided me with an inheritance. It consists of two parts. The first concerns Time–Space fusion laws and secret techniques. Even a brief glance has already given me immense inspiration. I am confident—after full comprehension, I can break through to Universe's Strongest."

The hall erupted.

"Congratulations!"

"That's wonderful!"

Great Axe raised his hand, silencing the noise.

"Chaos," he asked gravely, "are you certain?"

"I am."

Great Axe's eyes shone.

"And the second part?"

Primordial Chaos City Lord's tone turned solemn.

"It points out the path beyond Universe Lord—to Universe's Strongest, and even higher realms. Though lacking step-by-step methods, the framework itself is priceless."

Silence fell.

Then—

Shock.

"If this is true…"

"This inheritance is beyond measure!"

"It cannot be transmitted through the Primordial or Virtual Universe," Primordial Chaos City Lord added. "You must come personally to view it."

That was enough.

One by one, Universe Lords rose.

"I'll go immediately."

"So will I."

Establishing the God Kingdom

Bai Yue was unaware of the storm unfolding behind him.

Guided by an Undying servant, he teleported repeatedly within Ganwu Universe Country, finally arriving in a desolate starfield devoid of life.

After several irregular jumps, he tore open space with a single slash and stepped into the Space Interlayer.

Skipping past the God Kingdom layer, he plunged directly into the Space Torrent Layer, moving ever deeper.

With his current strength, he had no intention of placing his God Kingdom in shallow territory.

Even relying on his Human body alone, he was confident in suppressing peak Universe Overlords.

Only the deepest layers—

Would suffice.
