Chapter 127 - Chapter 127 -- Plan Completed

Bai Yue nodded slightly and replied in a lowered voice, "It's already exceeded sixty thousand."

At the same time, an invisible barrier spread out around him—external sounds could still enter, but nothing spoken within would leak outward.

Even though he had anticipated this outcome, the number still exceeded expectations.

With Bai Yue's reputation, combined with the layered guidance and deliberate momentum-building, challenge letters were inevitable. But this many—it was still beyond what he had estimated.

"Sixty thousand?" Shu Hong King's eyes widened uncontrollably.

"Sixty thousand…" Chaman King repeated softly. His expression instantly became complicated. He had spent an unimaginably long time on Zijing Island, yet the total number of battles he had fought here did not even reach a thousand.

"So many… and it's only been a moment," Qian Yu Wang muttered, equally shaken.

Chaman King let out a slow breath, his tone tinged with helplessness.

"It seems I still underestimated how desperately those alien races want to trample Battle King. Your fame is too great, and Glory World has too many restrictions. You're at a natural disadvantage when displaying your strength here."

He paused, then continued calmly.

"First, they want to fight a super genius whose name echoes across billions of races. Second, they want to bully you while the rules suppress you. Third… they genuinely believe they're stronger."

Within the entire Inheritance Land, Third-Level and Fourth-Level Inheritors accounted for more than ninety-nine percent of all participants. Third-Level Inheritors alone exceeded ninety million.

If even one percent challenged Bai Yue, that would be nine hundred thousand challenge letters.

With emotions stirred to such a degree—far more intense than what Lord Luo had once faced—his arrival on the square only accelerated the flood.

The challenge letters poured in like a storm.

"If there are too many challenge letters, you can't accept them recklessly," a Human Champion warned seriously. "Once accepted, the battle is mandatory. You must keep fighting until your Glory Points are exhausted before the challenge can be terminated."

Though they had cooperated with Bai Yue's plan, some still harbored doubts.

Not because they believed the rumors—but because Bai Yue's cultivation time was simply too short.

The alien powerhouses in the Zu Shen Mystic Region were all peerless geniuses. Many possessed peak profound arts, some even ultimate profound arts. Among Third-Level Inheritors, there were those whose law comprehension bordered on perfection.

Amplification techniques, willpower, consciousness—none of them were lacking.

From the Human Race's perspective, their advice was sincere: avoid famous powerhouses, choose selectively, and aim for a stable win rate. Otherwise, the arrangement would backfire.

At that moment, loud voices erupted from afar.

"Battle King! I, Chi Ren King of the Monster Race, challenge you! Do you dare accept?"

"You can set the wager! You probably only have three Glory Points—how about three points against three?"

"I doubt your strength entirely! Your reputation reeks of opportunities, not real power!"

Alien voices rang out from every direction—some sharp, some booming, some hoarse, some strange and distorted through awkward Human common language.

They weren't inviting battle.

They were provoking.

Bai Yue glanced at the black book in his hand. The number had already crossed one hundred thousand, and it was still climbing rapidly.

Originally, he had planned to stage several warm-up battles using his seven clones to further stir interest.

Now?

There was no need.

Once the trend formed, it fed itself.

"Do you think Battle King will accept?" a tall alien in golden battle armor asked calmly.

"Perhaps once or twice," another replied indifferently. "After losing, he'll understand reality. With so many challenges, it won't even be our turn. He'll lose his Glory Points quickly and be forced to stop."

The speakers belonged to the Yaoshan Race, a metallic lifeform race born from the First Ancestor Holy Mountain. Genderless. Cold. Calculating.

Listening to all this, Bai Yue smiled faintly.

Then he spoke.

"I have an idea."

He glanced at the Humans around him.

"I'll give you my Virtual Universe plane number. Let's leave Glory World for now and spar in the Virtual Universe."

Shu Hong King's eyes lit up instantly. "That works!"

"Smart," Li Shuo Wang nodded. "The Virtual Universe lets us standardize conditions. You can quickly gauge where you stand among Third-Level Inheritors."

"I'll join as well," several Champions from the Great Alliance chimed in eagerly.

Bai Yue laughed softly. "Then I'll trouble everyone."

Virtual Universe — Bai Yue's Private Plane

With all parameters adjusted to mirror Glory World conditions, the sparring began.

The first challenger was Shu Hong King.

The instant combat mode activated, his aura transformed. Winged weapons unfurled behind him, sharp claws extending from his hands. The phantom of a Wind-Time Beast God emerged—nearly perfect in form, ancient and ferocious.

The Beast God's gaze carried a wild will, but to Bai Yue's perception, Shu Hong King's consciousness still burned like a clear lamp.

Then—impact.

Bai Yue did not dodge.

He lifted a hand casually, as if brushing away dust.

Boom!

The Wind Beast God phantom shattered instantly.

Shu Hong King was flung backward, god power exploding as his form reassembled.

"I lost," he said hoarsely, disbelief etched across his face.

Silence followed.

Everyone present finally understood.

This was not rumor.

This was Universe Exalt–level combat power.

Bai Yue swept his gaze across them and said calmly,

"You all come at me together."

And so they did.

The void filled with god power explosions—brilliant, multicolored, overwhelming. Champion after Champion fell, their Undying bodies detonating like cosmic fireworks.

By the end, no one doubted him anymore.

Soon after, the replies went out.

Every challenge letter received a response.

Accepted.

Across Glory World, alien inheritors froze in disbelief.

"How many did he accept?"

"Tens of thousands?"

No—

All of them.

Zijing Island.

Bai Yue sat calmly within a pavilion beside a tranquil pond.

The total number of challenge letters had reached 1.7 million, nearly three times what Lord Luo had once faced.

He accepted them all.

Glory World — Battle World.

On a vast primordial continent, a six-winged beetle-like creature slowly flew forward, phosphorescent toxin rippling through the air.

"Chong Ming," Bai Yue murmured.

A notorious special lifeform.

The first opponent.

Bai Yue raised his eyes.

"The first battle begins."
