In the vast sea of stars—
Bulma's ship cruised steadily on autopilot, gliding toward Earth with calm, silent precision.
Inside the lounge, Bulma sat with her cheek propped up in one hand, reading a sci-fi novel her sister Tights had written.
After a while, she yawned, stretched, and closed the book.
"My sister's time-travel story is actually pretty interesting…"
She tilted her head.
"Goku, want to read it too?"
No response.
Bulma turned—
and saw Goku sprawled out on the floor like a starfish, sleeping so deeply that a thin line of drool hung at the corner of his mouth.
Bulma raised a brow, hands on her hips.
"This guy's sleep quality is seriously unfair…"
A mischievous smile crept onto her lips.
She crouched beside him and pinched his nose.
"Mmm… mm…"
Goku frowned, turned over, and kept sleeping.
Bulma giggled, then poked his cheek.
"Hey. Lazybones. Wake up."
Goku finally cracked his eyes open, still half-asleep.
"Mm? Bulma… what is it?"
Bulma rested her chin in her palm, watching him with an amused, playful look.
"I'm bored."
Goku shifted and patted the floor beside him.
"Take a nap. If you're asleep, you won't be bored."
Bulma snorted.
"I don't want to sleep."
Goku blinked.
"Then… what do you want to do?"
Bulma leaned closer, grinning.
"You tell me…"
Goku sat up and lightly tugged her closer.
Bulma stumbled into his arms, face warming instantly. She tried to push away, but his arm was already around her waist, steady and firm.
"Hey! What are you doing?!"
Goku looked completely innocent.
"You're the one who woke me up."
He paused, then asked as if it was the most natural thing in the world:
"…You locked the door, right?"
Bulma's ears went red.
She suddenly remembered one important detail—
Goku was a Saiyan. And sometimes… he didn't know the meaning of "taking it easy."
Her courage shrank on the spot.
"Goku… I was joking! I just wanted to wake you up!"
Goku blinked once—
then leaned in and gave her a quick, light kiss.
Bulma froze.
A second later, she punched his shoulder with a flustered expression.
"Since when did you learn that?!"
Goku scratched his head.
"Chi-Chi said couples should show affection more. Like… hugging and kissing."
He tilted his head.
"And you woke me up. So… you don't like it?"
Bulma was both annoyed and amused. In the end, she sighed and leaned against his shoulder, muttering softly:
"You're seriously… like a kid."
Goku tightened his arms around her, rubbing his chin lightly against the top of her head.
"Bulma, you smell really nice."
Bulma shivered a little and quickly pulled away, clearing her throat.
"W-Wait. I'm going to take a shower first."
She slipped into the lounge's private bathroom.
A while later, she came out—hair damp, towel wrapped around her, still wiping her hair dry.
"Goku, I'm done…"
But as she stepped out—
she found Goku standing in front of the fridge, rummaging for food.
Bulma stared.
"…Goku."
She dragged the word out slowly.
In the time it took her to shower, the fridge had basically been emptied.
Bulma leaned on the doorway, eyes narrowing with mock danger.
"Goku… you ate all my snacks."
Goku stuffed the last sandwich into his mouth and finally turned around.
He stopped mid-chew, staring at her like his brain had crashed.
Bulma lifted her chin, smirking.
"What? Stunned?"
"Come here. Help me dry my hair."
"Uh—okay!"
Goku grabbed a hairdryer and helped her dry it, clumsy but earnest.
The atmosphere softened, warmth settling in.
Just as things were about to get… complicated—
A heavy THUD! echoed from down the corridor.
Then another.
And another.
Bulma and Goku both paused.
Goku frowned.
"…That's the gravity room."
Bulma blinked.
"My soundproofing is top-tier. You can't hear voices, right? Just impacts."
Another violent bang shook the wall.
This time, there was also a faint, pained yell mixed in.
Bulma's brow twitched.
"Wait… that sounded like Nappa."
Goku's expression turned a little strange.
Bulma crossed her arms.
"Go check. Vegeta and Nappa aren't trying to tear my gravity room apart, are they?"
Goku nodded.
"Yeah. You—get dressed first."
A minute later, the two of them stepped out and walked toward the gravity room.
The closer they got, the clearer it became.
The impacts weren't random.
They were body slams.
And the screaming definitely wasn't from training normally.
Inside the gravity room—
BANG!!
Nappa flew across the room like a wrecking ball, smashing into the wall before sliding down to the floor.
"Ugh—! Vegeta! Wait! I wasn't ready—!"
Vegeta stood there shirtless, muscles tense, eyes icy, staring down at him like a predator.
"Trash."
"You can't even dodge something at this level, and you still dare call yourself a Saiyan?"
Bulma's eyebrow jumped.
Goku's mouth opened slightly.
"…Vegeta. What are you doing?"
Vegeta didn't even look away.
"Training."
He stepped forward, aura cold and sharp.
"Since we're going back to Earth… I'm not wasting a single second."
Nappa trembled on the floor, struggling to sit up.
"T-Training doesn't mean this—!"
Vegeta's eyes narrowed.
"Then stop whining."
"Get up."
