[3rd POV]
Billie decided that she needed to get some more workers to handle her paperwork, because god damn was it not even remotely fun to sit at her desk for hours on end, working on one singular thing. Reading through hundreds of paper without much rest. The only real good thing about doing her paperwork, was that she only had to do it once a week or so, so it wasn't too bad.
That, and after she finished, she was pretty much free for the rest of the day, so she could have fun with Haley, go out, or do something else that she wants. But the one thing that sucked about this, was that it would pretty much be the end of the day by the time that the paperwork was finished.
Which is why Billie decided that she needed to hire some workers that could handle her paperwork for her. As with actual proper workers that could legally do them without her worrying about it, she could have more free time to expand other aspects of her business. Like investing into new businesses, new real estate, and more.
She already planned on buying out more small businesses, like coffee shops, minor restaurants, gyms, and stuff like that. All of which would slowly but surely add up more and more, making her money that she could then invest further, making her even more.
She hoped to have at least one business in every state in the North West, and maybe even ones towards New York. But to do something like that, she would need to hire more people to handle her businesses while she was away, which is something that she planned on doing either way.
But that would be for the far future, likely years from now, once she has made enough to buy actual big companies that could make her some serious cash.
For now she was sticking with quantity over quality. Which would slowly get merged together as subsidiaries of her company, which would specialize in literally just owning other subsidiaries and other companies. Either by owning the stock in companies, or something else of the sort.
But far less evil than other companies that do the same. As she was still, even now, making monthly investments into charity, and even working on founding her own charity that would work and involve in helping orphaned children and the children in foster care, or getting out of foster care.
The other aspect of the charity she was working on was helping out veterans. As a lot of the older veterans were treated like absolute shit, even though they had served the country for years, and didn't get much in terms of repayment, which was just wrong.
She hoped to have the charity up and running before the beginning of the next year.
Besides the charity and the small businesses, she has also been investing into something else, well, "something's".
First, she had been investing subtly into card games, more specifically, she had been buying cards that she liked, while also buying older boxes that were worth nothing at the moment. This included magic which she had managed to get some of the best cards in that game, the rarest and most expensive.
Pokemon was more her thing though, and she had bought one of the holy grails that she had only thought about in her past life. The Pikachu Illustrator card, which would be worth millions in the future due to the influence of Logan Paul and a few other factors.
She hoped to have the largest pokemon card collection in the world, but that was a hobby, so it was a side thing. Sort of like how she had been painting minifigures on the side, from Warhammer 40k. Or how she had started to collect older retro games to run on her consoles.
The second thing she had been investing into, was actually sports teams. Mostly overseas, but she had actually been looking into buying some minor teams in Europe, since they were cheap for the most part, and legally she was able to buy them.
On top of that, there was some minor teams in the US she was interested into, but not really as much. She already had been working on buying a team in the EFL, more specifically "Level 2". As there was tons of teams there that were pretty cheap all things considered.
She hoped to do that, as well as buy teams in other countries that wouldn't break any sort of rules. Like in Japan, the US, South America, Africa, and Oceania. She wouldn't spend more than like a few hundred million on all of the teams, and that was only after she saved up quite a bit to ensure she didn't run out of money.
Which was hard with how fast she was making it.
At the moment Billie was eating dinner with her girlfriend, having finished her paperwork a while ago, and had mostly been focusing on just enjoying her time at this point. She did not want to do any more work for the day, as they sat next to one another on the couch watching the show in front of her.
"So, you plan on going to meet the Kardashians soon, right?"
"We, and yeah. I figure we can do it after I go to the Hollywood Arts High School. Mattering on how good the school is, and how good the kids are, I might even suggest to Kris to transfer one or both of them into the school" Billie replied, as Haley looked over at her with surprise.
"Really?"
"Mmhmm, it's probably one of the best schools in the country for the area. I wouldn't say world, but it's damn good, and had I been wealthy enough, I would have gone too when I was younger" Billie said, but she hadn't really had the money to attend, well, not legal money at least.
"I didn't realize the school was that good" Haley muttered in response.
"Yeah you wouldn't expect it, but the school is genuinely great. Too bad it is outrageously expensive unless you get a scholarship, but getting one of those is notoriously impossible to do" Billie replied, not surprised with her reaction.
The school was well known in the area, of course. But it was not known for how good it actually was. It was just known for being the best in the area. Had people known it was one of the best schools in the entire country at what it does, she expected there would be far too many students trying to sign up.
Well, that would be the case. But to actually attend it cost thousands of dollars. Way too much for the average household. It was only really a school for the rich kids, and those that were really really talented.
Basically, it was perfect for Kylie and Kendall, depending on if they were actually talented enough. Billie hoped they were, as she didn't want them to turn out how they did in her past life, which was basically just walking talking drama machines, with drama and controversy happening every single time they did literally anything.
Mostly because of Kris.
"Hmm...can I go with you for the visit?" Haley asked, as Billie looked over at her before shrugging.
"I don't see why not" Billie replied, causing Haley to smile, pleased as she focused back on the tv show. All the while, Billie had only one thought on her mind.
'I wonder if the cast is any different from the show?'
