Chapter 116 - Three Factions Meeting

Time passed, and in the blink of an eye, it was evening.

After spending half the afternoon taking Gabriel around Kuoh Town, the two returned to Kuoh Academy.

Compared to when they left at noon, the area was already covered with three layers of thick barriers.

"Hmm?"

Gabriel stopped at the school gate, her gaze fixed on the barrier.

This barrier seems a bit off.

The three layers of barriers were set up by Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels respectively, forming a defense line in cooperation with each other. But after observing, Gabriel found that not one of these three layers of barriers was built by Heaven.

Staring at the barrier for a moment, Gabriel seemed to understand something and turned her head to look to the side. "Tatsuma-san, did you and Serafall deliberately send me away?"

Tatsuma nodded. "Mm, deliberately."

"The reason?"

"The Khaos Brigade will come to cause trouble tonight. Your Heaven's barrier is too conservative, it's not convenient for me to kill people."

Gabriel asked, "Does Michael know about this?"

"I've spoken to Sirzechs, I don't know if he told Michael."

"...I understand."

Seeing that Tatsuma didn't seem to be lying, Gabriel remained silent for a moment before replying.

"Next time you do something like this, you can discuss it with me. There's no need to make it so troublesome."

Tatsuma shrugged and replied, "You should tell that to Serafall."

His original plan was to have Serafall negotiate with the other two factions to replace the outer defense line with a killing formation he designed.

However, Serafall indicated that wouldn't work, as the other two factions wouldn't cooperate willingly. Rather than wasting time, it was simpler to just send the leaders of the other two factions away.

Of course, this matter initially had nothing to do with him. The reason it became part of the plan, taking Gabriel on a tour, was entirely because Serafall was too mischievous.

"Serafall... her personality is indeed a bit unreliable."

Gabriel nodded in agreement after hearing this, then bid farewell to Tatsuma to check on the formation's status.

As for Tatsuma, he went to the Old School Building area and found Rias and the others.

"Tatsuma, this is your suit." Rias handed a custom-made suit to Tatsuma.

The Three-Faction Meeting was an extremely important occasion, and one couldn't dress too casually. Therefore, apart from Gasper, who couldn't attend the meeting due to his Sacred Gear possibly going berserk, everyone in the Occult Research Club was dressed formally.

Tatsuma changed into the suit and looked at himself in the mirror.

He looked imposing and dignified.

"Not bad."

Rias's eyes lit up, and she was very satisfied.

As the saying goes, 'clothes make the man,' and Tatsuma looked even better than usual after putting on the suit.

After circling Tatsuma once, Rias called the others and they headed to the Main Teaching Building.

The meeting was on the top floor of the Main Teaching Building, in the room where the school leaders usually held meetings.

Pushing the door open, they saw that the meeting room was already filled with a large crowd of members.

According to their respective factions, these people were seated in three different areas.

Led by Michael and Gabriel, the Angels sat in the area near the windows.

Led by Azazel and Vali, the Fallen Angels sat in the area with the murals.

Led by Sirzechs and Serafall, the Devils sat in the area near the door.

Seeing Tatsuma and the others arrive, Sirzechs immediately looked over and gestured to the side.

"Tatsuma, your seat is here."

"Actually, I can sit in the back too."

Tatsuma walked over and sat in the front row.

As for Rias and the others, they went to the back area near the wall.

Besides them, Sona and the others who had arrived earlier were also sitting in the back row.

"You are one of the main characters today, it would be inappropriate to have you sit in the back."

Seeing that Tatsuma and the others were all seated, Sirzechs looked up towards the front.

"Alright, everyone is here. Let the Three-Factions Meeting officially begin."

On the outskirts of Kuoh Town, several figures appeared out of thin air.

Katerea said, "They've started."

As a descendant of Leviathan and one of the leaders of the Old Satan Faction, this operation to disrupt the Three-Factions Meeting was led by Katerea.

After relaying the newly received information, she looked around and asked, "Walburga, are all your people here?"

Walburga, who had escaped from Tatsuma during the battle in Shibuya not long ago, replied, "They arrived long ago."

As a through and through terrorist, she was not intimidated by Tatsuma's strength.

After receiving the invitation from the Old Satan Faction, she brought the rogue mages of Hexennacht and participated in a new round of action.

Seeing this, Katerea withdrew her gaze and looked at the gray-haired girl standing on her right. "How are Deva's people prepared?"

"The equipment has been distributed, how much they can achieve after this depends on you."

"Don't worry, this operation cannot fail."

Katerea looked at the last two people present and asked, "Are you the only two reinforcements from Hueco Mundo?"

Grimmjow curled his lip. "Otherwise, how many more do you want? When do we start? I'm already impatient."

"Grimmjow, don't act on your own."

Ulquiorra, holding back his eager teammate with one hand, looked at Katerea. "Please don't worry, the fact that that lord sent us means that the two of us are worth a thousand troops."

"Alright, I understand."

Katerea didn't nitpick anymore.

In any case, being able to gather so much combat power was already an unexpected situation. Now, as long as they eliminated any one of the leaders of the three factions, this operation would not be a loss.

"Walburga, the rest is up to you."

"Don't worry, I'm already prepared."

Walburga used teleportation magic and arrived outside Kuoh Academy, beginning to contact the mole.

After a moment, the formation automatically opened a gap, and Walburga stepped inside.
