Marix stood tall as he stared down the guards.
"I, the second prince of Viraaz and General of the Viraaz army, DEMAND to be let in immediately!"
"Sir, we cannot let you in. It is Norain law, we've already told you. Please do not make a ruckus. The Princess needs peace and quiet, no distractions."
They stood there, their spears in hand, not even making eye contact with him as they stared straight ahead.
Marix clenched his jaw. "It doesn't matter. The Princess and I are not of Norain, so your laws don't affect us."
"We assure you, it does matter. We are in Norain and specifically the Norain Castle. We must follow protocol."
He scoffed, "Fine. Then I will get someone else to tell you why it doesn't matter." He turned on his heel and headed towards the King and Queen's chambers.
It was down the hall and around the corner, although it also had two guards stationed in front of its doors.
