Chapter 118 - "No."

 Eilownia fell against the wall of the summer house as the sun began to light up the world. She panted hard, allowing herself just a moment of rest.

 She knew her chance to get inside was running out with the morning sun rising, warning her like an hourglass running out of sand.

 Marix had taught her never to go in through the front door without clearing it first, and she knew from her time at his estate that the foyer would most likely be full of maids and servants bustling about to prepare for the rest of the day.

 She glanced around the back wall, all of the windows appeared to be shut.

 Eilownia chewed on her bottom lip as she limped around the side, praying there was a way in.

 Relia's cries could be heard, causing Eilownia's heart to twist in her chest. She'd most likely just woken up from her sleep, crying out for her mother.

 Then, Eilownia spotted her saving grace – a maid had exited a side door with a whicker basket on her arm.
