Adele ran through the forest, and she felt her body tensing to the point of aching, but she still kept on pushing.
Exactly when she thought that this was it, luckily she found a crack in a large tree. Before the couple could see her, she hurriedly sat in there and hid herself in the furthest, darkest area inside the tree, covering her mouth with her hands, diminishing her presence….
"Where's the b*tch!" Adele heard the female right behind the trunk. "It's like she vanished into thin air!"
Adele forgot to breathe for a while as the shock registered in her mind for ongoing events. All she could do was hide and hope, and wait for them to pass, to leave her.
As she sat there in a squatting position, she started to hear them frantically sniffing the air across the woodland. But there was no hint of her smell.
"F*ck! Where is she?…. Adele heard their steps getting further and further away from her, so she gradually started breathing again as her grip on her mouth gradually loosened.
