On the border of the Land of Fire, where it meets the Land of Grass and the Land of Rain, at the junction of the three nations.
Danzo, accompanied by his two remaining loyal subordinates, arrived here at Orochimaru's invitation.
"Orochimaru, why choose a place like this to meet?"

Pain stepped forward, his expression cold.
"Release him. His life should be ended by me."
Clearly, Pain was displeased.
But Itachi replied calmly, "Those sealed by the Sword of Totsuka cannot be released. And I have my own reason for killing him."
"Is that so?"
Pain's expression darkened.
"Then I will take him myself."
"If you can—try."
Crimson eyes met purple.
Mangekyo Sharingan versus Rinnegan.
A clash of the strongest dojutsu—about to erupt.
