Chapter 42 – The Plan Beyond Chaos
Our story continues from where it last ended.
Navi was walking toward the portal.
Dark Shadow –
"Why are you going near the portal? Are you crazy? You're walking straight toward death."
Navi –
"I'm not crazy. I need to become stronger. All my enemies are getting stronger, and I haven't improved at all. My luck won't save me every time.
I have to become powerful… very soon, he is going to arrive."
Dark Shadow –
"I understand your concern, but you can't fight monsters like this head-on."
Dark Shadow –
"What will you gain by fighting monsters that can make you stronger so quickly?"
Navi –
"Monster cores."
"I have a skill… I can absorb any monster core."
Dark Shadow –
"But what if you absorb a core that doesn't match your power? It could harm you."
Navi –
"I can absorb any monster core… and I'm immune to their side effects."
Navi remembers the past—when his system told him about this special ability.
A skill that would continue to exist even beyond his life.
Thinking about this makes him slightly sad…
Scene Shift – The Portal
A cold wind filled the air… along with the scent of monsters.
A powerful monster emerged from the portal.
Its aura alone created immense pressure on all the hunters present.
It was a water-type monster, and behind it, thousands of monsters slowly started coming out.
Their commander stepped forward first… and saw a human standing before him — Navi.
Navi stepped forward and said,
"This is your last chance… go back."
Commander Monster (smirking) –
"Is this a joke? Aren't you afraid?"
He released his power, increasing the pressure.
Navi felt the pressure… but his face showed no reaction.
Navi –
"Everyone, get ready for battle."
The hunters launched attacks from a distance—
some used arrows, some fire, some ice.
Navi shouted,
"Stay back!"
Commander –
"This is just a small force… the real army is yet to arrive."
Suddenly, he attacked with his axe.
Star Appears 🔥
Navi –
"Star… come out."
Star emerged from Navi's shadow and blocked the attack instantly.
The commander was shocked.
The sheer power of Star made the weaker monsters panic and start fleeing.
Navi –
"Take out your AK-47s! Attack the monsters that are running!"
The hunters were stunned.
"How can normal weapons damage monsters?"
Monster Commander –
"How is this possible? How are normal weapons hurting me?!"
At that moment, Star moved at incredible speed and struck the monster from behind with a knife.
Piece's POV 👀
Piece –
"Interesting… without even using his real power, he managed to survive the first layer.
I've never seen normal weapons harm monsters before…
What is this human hiding?"
The hunters finally realized their mistake.
Navi had already warned them earlier.
Feeling Star's overwhelming pressure, they silently obeyed.
The Hospital Plan 🧠
All the monsters fled into the hospital building.
Hunters reported,
"Sir, all monsters have entered the hospital."
Navi (smiling) –
"Good. Now the real plan begins."
Inside the Hospital – Chaos
Inside, the monsters started killing each other.
Screams echoed everywhere…
Blue blood covered the floor…
Rooms were completely destroyed…
Flashback (Moments Earlier)
As soon as the monsters entered the hospital…
They saw a man sitting calmly on a chair.
A powerful energy radiated from him.
His glowing green eyes shined…
And he said:
"Kill them all."
Suddenly, the monsters began attacking each other.
The man simply sat there… watching and enjoying the chaos.
Present
All the monsters died.
Only one powerful fish-like monster remained.
Filled with rage, it shouted,
"I won't let you go!"
Suddenly, its own hand moved on its own…
It raised its sword… and placed it on its own neck.
Fish Monster –
"What… is happening to me…?"
"You will always remain below us…"
And it cut its own throat.
The Man on the Chair –
"You should be afraid… my teacher is of Legendary rank."
And then… he disappeared.
Piece (Confused) 😶
"What just happened…?
It feels like they killed each other…
I can't sense any presence… no aura at all."
Outside – Navi
Looking at his watch, Navi smiled.
"It seems the game ended before it even began."
"Rest for now… the next layer is coming. Keep your weapons ready."
Final Scene – Cliffhanger ⚡
New York City
Jack Lee was sitting on top of the Statue of Liberty, resting.
Suddenly, a portal opened beside him.
Before he could react—
it cracked open and pulled him inside.
And then… it closed.
