CHAPTER 85
~Xade's POV~
The entire ride back from dropping Jade off at her house had been torture.
Not the physical kind. The kind that crept into a man's mind and refused to let him breathe properly.
Xander kept talking about school assignments and training schedules, but I barely heard half of what he said. My mind had stayed somewhere else entirely, replaying the image of Jade beneath me on that couch earlier like a scene my brain refused to let go of.
She had been there — soft, bare, and breathing my name like it was the only word she knew.
And I had not finished what I started.
That fact alone had left my entire body in a constant state of tension for the rest of the day.
Even during school the next day, while teachers droned on about pack diplomacy and ancient wolf treaties, my thoughts kept drifting back to her scent, the warmth of her skin beneath my palms, and the way her body had arched so beautifully when I touched her.
