Even Bayern Munich fans were deeply impressed by Kai in this game.
"Did you watch the match?"
"Match? There wasn't any game yesterday."
"Not the first team — the U15s. The UEFA Youth League."
"Oh, that one. How did Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and Thomas Hitzlsperger perform? Those guys really look like future stars. Especially Lahm. He could probably play U17 next year!"
"They were great…"
"The next match is the semi-final, right? When is it?"
"There is no next match."
"What?"
"The opponent was even better. The Portuguese freak Cristiano Ronaldo had two assists and a goal. And Football Caesar Kai scored a hat trick and killed the game in the final minute of extra time."
"Holy shit! Seriously? That insane? Isn't this Kai way too strong? The club should just buy him already!"
"I agree! Let's all message the club. Maybe they'll actually listen!"
And it wasn't just one or two fans talking like this.
Finally, even Germany's famous football media Bild suggested that Bayern should sign Kai and published several articles:
"His creativity is exactly what German football lacks! Bring back this abandoned Caesar!"
"After Franz Beckenbauer and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, he might become the third Football Emperor!"
The German media practically exploded with hype.
Meanwhile, the UEFA Youth League held a new draw.
Sporting CP were the last team to reach the semi-finals.
The other three were Ajax, Atletico Madrid, and AC Milan.
The draw result:
Sporting vs Ajax
AC Milan vs Atletico Madrid
This matchup was ridiculously targeted.
Feyenoord, Groningen, Sporting… and now Ajax.
It almost felt like the Portuguese and Dutch academies were fighting for the title of "World's No.1 Youth Training System."
UEFA really knew how to stir the pot.
For a while, everyone called the Sporting vs Ajax match:
"The Battle of the Strongest Youth Academy in the World!"
The winner would basically claim youth-training supremacy.
As for Atletico Madrid, their academy was strong too, but not as cutthroat as this side of the bracket.
The match against Bayern was so explosive that Kai received an SSS rating.
The blue fragments critted hard, and he spent forty to unlock two blue skills:
Low-Altitude Pass: Your long passes travel faster but are easier to intercept.
Weighted Spin Pass: Your long passes spin with precision, making them easier for teammates to control.
Both were insanely useful — especially for a core playmaker like Kai.
Without support skills like these, even his "Tintin-style instinct passing" would just look flashy instead of deadly.
Because the opponent had several future stars, there was also a special "star drop."
Sadly, not Lahm's.
It was Schweinsteiger's.
And the description was hilarious:
"Mediocre Winger Bastian Schweinsteiger: Once so average on the wing that the club nearly gave up on him. Long pass +1, short pass +1, interception +1, steal +1. When playing centrally, long shots and shot power increase."
Kai stared at the description.
"...Are you kidding me?"
Mediocre winger?
Then why are all the stats for a midfielder?!
And the effect only works in the middle?
The irony was so sharp it could cut cock.
Schweinsteiger would probably cry if he saw this.
Still… for Kai, it was actually perfect.
He mostly operated centrally anyway, and extra long-shot power was exactly what he needed.
Funny how things worked out.
If it had been Lahm's drop, it might not even have suited him this well.
Back in Lisbon, the team quickly moved into league play.
Kai and Cristiano rarely rested, but their schedule was brutal, so both finally rotated.
Against Marítimo, even without their two aces, Sporting's U15s still drew 1–1.
That result secured first place in the Southern Division three rounds early and qualified them for the championship group.
No one expected this.
They had once been near the bottom.
Now they hadn't lost a single match in the second stage.
The more they fought, the stronger they got.
April arrived.
Big European matches dominated the news.
Including the Champions League quarter-final second leg between Manchester United and Inter Milan.
Cristiano, who had promised a hat trick comeback, missed the mark.
The match ended 1–1.
Manchester United advanced 3–1 on aggregate.
Their fans cried tears of joy…
But very soon, they cried again.
Because their semi-final opponent was the terrifying Juventus.
April 6th.
Sporting beat Leiria U15 at home.
Cristiano scored twice.
Kai added one.
3–0.
April 9th.
Away vs Estoril.
Cristiano scored once.
Kai provided assists and scored twice, pushing his league assists to 20.
Twenty.
He became the first player in Portuguese U15 history to reach 20+ assists.
In youth football, goals are easy.
Assists are hell.
Because talented strikers just bulldoze defenses alone.
Midfielders rarely get stats.
But Kai's numbers were outrageous.
So what did that mean?
Was he bad?
No.
It meant only one thing—
He was shamelessly farming stats.
And why?
Because coach Trigueira had told him two months ago:
He and Cristiano had entered the watch list of Portugal U16 head coach António Violante.
This summer…
They would fight for a spot in the European Junior Championship.
