Azura's POV
I sat quietly on Rhydor's lap inside our grand chamber, resting my cheek against the warmth of his bare chest.
His strong arms were wrapped securely around my waist, pulling me close while his soft lips kept pressing gentle kisses onto my forehead, my hair, and my temples.
His heartbeat was steady beneath my ear, a reassuring rhythm that usually brought me total peace, but my body felt strangely heavy today.
"I feel so weak," I whispered, letting my eyelids flutter shut for a moment.
"You really need to rest more, my love," Rhydor said, his deep voice vibrating gently against my cheek. "You have not rested properly once since we came back home. You have been running around, worrying about everyone else in the pack house instead of taking care of yourself."
I shifted slightly in his lap, letting out a small sigh.
"I do not know what it is. I am just so worried about everything."
