Azura's POV
"I was not forcing him, Mother," Sandra mumbled, looking down at her hands as her cheeks flushed red.
"You might not think you are forcing him, but you are," I said patiently.
"If you were not, he would feel completely comfortable around you. Why do you think he is always so tense, looking for an excuse to leave the room? If you want to know if he truly likes you... just talk to him like a normal friend first."
I turned my head to glare at Eric.
"And as for you... stop going after your sister every single time she shows interest in a boy. It is completely normal for a girl her age to like someone younger. Stop making her feel ashamed about it."
Eric looked down at the wooden floorboards, a clear shadow of regret crossing his handsome face.
They both stood there in silence, looking thoroughly miserable and sorry for their actions.
"I just want the two of you to make up," I said softly, reaching out to pat both of their shoulders.
