After finishing the competition, Ana and Ange texted Shin. Soon after, the group met again outside the event.
"So, who won?" Shin asked as he approached the two girls.
Ange let out a long sigh before admitting her defeat. Meanwhile, Ana had already started enthusiastically recounting how their duel had gone.
"Aiko already told me everything..." Shin commented as he thought about what to say.
He was evaluating his options and thinking about where he should take Ana.
After considering it for a moment, he gave up on trying to be creative.
"Would you like to join me for dinner?" Shin asked.
"Of course!" Ana replied excitedly. "See you on Monday," she said to her two friends as she started saying goodbye.
"Actually," Shin interrupted the farewell. "Don't you want a ride back home?" He turned to Ange and Aiko.
The girls exchanged glances for a few seconds. Apparently, that brief moment was enough for them to hold a silent conversation.
