"From now on, you must change, " Shin said with a final tone.
Tomoko agreed with a small nod; she couldn't protest anymore.
"Just do as I say, ok?" he asked, reinforcing his dominance over her.
Once again, she agreed with her head. Shin smiled seeing it. Things were going perfectly well.
"So, what should I do?" She asked with an obedient tone.
"Monday morning, you will find that boy in the gym. You will apologize to him, publicly, in front of whoever is there. You will tell them you lied. And then you will never, ever do anything like that again."
"But my reputation…" The words escaped before she could stop them.
"Should have thought about that before you destroyed his reputation." Shin's eyes held hers. "This isn't negotiable, Tomoko. It's not a suggestion. It's what you're going to do to become someone who deserves Ana's friendship. Someone who deserves to be trusted."
Tomoko couldn't say anything. And if it were to keep her friendship with Ana, she would do anything.
