Shin stood, his eyes fixed on the tiny, glowing figure of Lilel, or rather, Lisa, as she smiled, certainly proud of her own plan.
"First, I need to separate your system from you, that way the Imperial Queen won't ever have any power over you," she said, raising a finger. "But we wouldn't want you losing control over your own powers."
"And how exactly do you plan to make it happen?"
Lisa smiled arrogantly, as she, somehow, used her power to make a holographic image of a key appear in the air.
"All you need is access to the system, but you don't need to directly own it inside of you. Right now, your system is engraved on your soul, which is also the source of your mana."
The holographic image changed to a ghost-like figure with multiple runes engraved on it. Shin could only suppose this represented his soul, or something.
