Eva was surprised that Kaho had earned so much in such a short amount of time, and she had to admit that her best friend had done a great job.
But still...
"You need to take care of yourself!" Eva snapped. "Don't try to distract me from that fact. First of all, you should at the very least eat every day."
"I'll be fine. It was just one or two days..." Kaho muttered.
"Three days have passed since I left," Eva corrected her sharply.
Kaho opened her mouth to defend herself, but no words came out. She didn't really have anything to say in her defense. She had simply forgotten about eating, or about doing anything else aside from work.
Her mind just couldn't stop thinking about the problems before her. Whenever she worked, she entered such a deep state of flow that everything else seemed unimportant.
"Besides, you stink," the queen complained, glancing around at the mess that had accumulated throughout the room. "And there's no way working in a place like this can be efficient."
