Both Lia and Seraphina frowned at the unusual word.
They obviously didn't understand what awakening meant.
Lucian, seeing that, explained.
"By awakening, I meant…" his words trailed off slightly.
For the first time since he had started explaining, he hesitated.
"How should I explain it?" He muttered lightly, confused.
He crossed his arms and tilted his head slightly as he leaned against the couch.
Both of them waited patiently for him to gather his thoughts.
"Okay… let's start like this," Lucian began, exhaling slowly.
"After I killed the goblin, I go—"
"Wait!!"
Lia's voice sliced through the room.
She shot forward and grabbed his arm abruptly, stopping him from continuing further.
"W-What do you mean by kill the goblin?"
Lucian froze.
His brain stopped for half a second.
'Right,' he realised.
'I forgot about that.'
He wanted to slap himself for making such a blunder.
He had completely forgotten about that part.
