Doningman's laughter was thick enough to rumble his chest as he moved, eyes rounding on Sullivan. His moderately muscular lean physique moved to meet Sullivan who was about to reach the elevators. "With how much you frequent…" his laughter continued, steps faltering ten feet away. "I would have thought you work here."
"And I would have thought you wise by now." Sullivan remained impassive. "Stray from my path."
The Senator sighed, rubbing his temples just as Coyl emerged from the adjacent door and stood next to him. "Do you realise the rumours about you being a vampire is because you talk ancient?" He took a step forward as if he could dare reach Sullivan. "Son, if I were you, I would use the Gen Z language. Clock it."
Coyl winced at the use of the word. That wasn't how Hya taught them.
