Tyrisa spared a glance at the bleeding cut.
Her eyelids lowered without a trace of emotion, her lips pressed into a thin line.
She blinked, once.
Then brought out a tanto and paired it together with her katana.
Yoshino on the other hand unsheathed his nodachi, his expression was calm, his eyelids closed.
His long black hair swayed slightly flowing gently in the wind.
The hand which gripped the nodachi tensed for a few seconds then Yoshino smiled.
"Ha… the heavens are on your side today, since I'm being tense that can only mean that I'm not confident in my ability to defeat you, but make no mistake princess, I shall prove to be quite difficult."
"You talk too much." Tyrisa replied coldly.
Yoshino chuckled.
"Oh… harsh."
Then he moved.
Tyrisa didn't wait for him to approach, she met his attack head-on.
Her counter was swift—her katana caught his nodachi before she leaned forward and slashed at his ribs.
Or at least she tried to.
Her blade never bit skin.
