Chapter 203 - TSWH: Chapter 203

"Arrogant!"

Benjamin's pupils shrank.

In his view, Oboro simply didn't recognize his true identity.

A mere gang leader, and yet so presumptuous…

Perhaps recent actions by the Fels family had inflated this person's arrogance.

"Trash."

Benjamin said coldly.

Suddenly, he raised his hand, and a heavy palm wind surged forward, striking directly at Oboro's head.

Bang!

The clothes of the two shook violently, caught in the gust that Benjamin unleashed, but his powerful palm did not land on Oboro's face. Instead, it was blocked by a more slender arm, and Oboro's five fingers tightly grasped Benjamin's wrist.

His expression was relaxed.

Compared to Benjamin's arm, which was as thick as a human calf, Oboro's arm was noticeably thinner.

But the strength he used made Benjamin's face change color.

His hand was immobilized…

Oboro's fingertips slowly pressed down, causing Benjamin's arm muscles to instantly cave in… However, the Crown Prince remained calm, with no change in expression.

"Oh? No wonder you're so arrogant… Are you a Nen ability user?"

Benjamin stared at Oboro, slightly surprised.

"Crown Prince!"

Nearby, Benjamin's guards suddenly tensed. They didn't expect Oboro to possess such strength.

"Don't bother."

Seeing a few of them move to help, Benjamin waved his other hand, stopping them.

The Crown Prince's body suddenly erupted with a surge of furious Nen energy. Oboro, close at hand, was instantly swept by the gale, almost unable to open his eyes.

In the original story, there is a description of Benjamin's strength, saying he possesses a "nebulous Nen volume that's impervious to blades and spears." Judging by that, it's indeed true.

The volume of energy correlates directly with flesh vitality and strength. Benjamin's physical qualities are terrifying in the eyes of outsiders, and his Nen volume must be equally formidable.

"I like hunting strong people… because only then can I prove my strength! I will hold you like a captured beast, crushing your bones alive…" As Benjamin spoke, his arm began to move, and he was able to resist Oboro's pressure bit by bit, gradually lifting his arm.

He was fighting fiercely.

Yes, Benjamin enjoys fighting and killing large, ferocious beasts. He has wrestled lions, torn bears apart, and even defeated some monsters with just his physique… He seeks to strengthen his wildness and maintain a dominant stance.

Since he's a king, he… is invincible, unassailable.

All creatures that oppose him only face death.

Oboro turned his head to look at his slowly bending arm. Benjamin's control and use of Nen were extremely skilled… Moreover, based on his personal will, the strength of his Nen was not weak, and primarily, his body's strength was outstanding.

"It seems… he's learned Nen systematically…"

Oboro commented.

"However, do you think… you understand me?"

With that, he shifted his tone, smiling lightly and locking eyes with Benjamin.

Misunderstanding?

Benjamin froze for a moment.

In the next second, a bulging vein suddenly appeared on his forehead, and his expression twisted in pain.

He could no longer pretend to be calm.

Because the arm that was seemingly gradually overpowering Oboro's grip suddenly throbbed with intense pain—an agony transmitted through the nerves directly to his mind, causing his face to turn pale instantly.

Crack!

Benjamin saw that Oboro had seized his left sleeve, which suddenly exploded into shreds, falling apart into strips of cloth.

The thin muscles on his arm suddenly swelled like a balloon, and the entire arm expanded several times. The muscles and skin developed a rock-like texture, and the floating blood vessels looked like small blue snakes.

The violent force hidden beneath the flesh… made Oboro seem like an unknown creature wrapped in a human skin.

At the same time, Oboro also unleashed his Nen, but only a part of it—he didn't fully activate his aura, just enough to flow on the surface… He activated his flesh and blood, showing his true physical strength! Normally, Oboro would gather the blood energy in his meridians, slow the flow, and reduce his heart's pumping efficiency… so as not to make his body look too exaggerated, which would make him uncomfortable to look at.

Therefore, under normal circumstances, he tries to maintain the minimum energy required for body movement.

"Ahhh!"

Benjamin roared.

Oboro's fingers, shaped like sharp knives, easily pierced through his Nen defense and sank into his flesh.

He had just raised his arm about ten centimeters, then suddenly dropped it. Under this force, Benjamin was completely overwhelmed and couldn't resist.

"Too weak… what you call strength is just an illusion of self-absorption. Kakin is only a part of the human world… if you truly want to go out and see, you'll understand what real strength is."

Oboro pinched Benjamin's hand, gradually lowering his grip, forcing Benjamin to kneel.

"Crown Prince!"

The sudden change made a group of private guards tremble.

With a loud shout, nine of them immediately activated their Nen.

Some close-combat private guards appeared around Oboro in an instant, launching attacks to threaten him into releasing Benjamin.

Whoosh!

However, Oboro casually flicked his other hand.

Like a black whip flicking through the air, in an instant, the attacking private guards froze in place, their heads gone without a trace… only a spray of blood splattered onto the floor and glass.

One of the characters from the scene—also one of Benjamin's loyal guards on the Black Whale, Little Black—tried to use his Nen ability, the "Bug Shot," a Nen beast resembling a wasp.

As long as the target isn't discovered and certain conditions are met, he can kill the opponent without contact.

But his Nen ability hadn't fully activated yet… the man in the distant suit, with deep, piercing eyes, was already looking over, his sharp gaze like two blades, penetrating through his eyes into his very core.

Along with that, a malicious Nen emanated from the man… full of evil intent.

Under this mental pressure, Little Black found his body trembling uncontrollably; he couldn't even properly use his Nen. The entire hall seemed to turn into a dark cavern, with Oboro transformed into a terrifying beast awakened from its slumber, with blood-red eyes fixed on him—the prey that had come right to his mouth.

His breath… was chaotic.

Oboro understood Benjamin's private guards very well… what kind of Nen abilities they possessed, all information was exposed in front of him.

In the "Black Whale" arc, one of the most outstanding characters—Benjamin's loyal guard, Han—felt a shiver down his spine… His ability was to analyze the Nen abilities of foreigners and create a Nen beast to counter the enemy's Nen. In the original story, the beast he created devoured King's Guard's guardian spirit.

From a principle standpoint, his ability was more like an "exclusionary Nen…"

But the problem was, Oboro hadn't used his Nen at all—he simply relied on his Nen to kill.

Without enough intelligence and data to analyze and prepare, he naturally couldn't produce a Nen beast to counter Oboro…

And all this happened too quickly; he had no time to prepare.

"Ah!"

At this moment, Benjamin let out a furious roar and swung his fist at Oboro.

Bang!

The few loyal guards still alive, without even blinking, only heard a loud explosion.

Benjamin's body flew back, crashing through a sturdy wall, blood pouring out, embedded in the rubble, eyes rolled back—completely unconscious.

Only four of the nine guards remained alive on the scene.

"Don't do anything stupid… or I'll rip your ticket… and kill him," Oboro said calmly, lowering his foot, tapping his shoe, and speaking lightly.

He was referring to Benjamin.

These guards, although visibly panicked and trembling, showed no fear… indicating they weren't afraid of death. The Crown Prince's training was very effective; after all, they were soldiers with outstanding dedication.

But with Benjamin's life as a hostage, they dared not act rashly.

Suddenly, a strange, eerie green mist spread from Oboro's feet, drifting through the entire room.

Blurred ghostly shadows flickered like fish swimming in water, darting back and forth within the fog… even some spirits climbed onto the guards, making the scene inside the room even more sinister.

The temperature in the air seemed to drop sharply.

Oboro slowly walked to the wall, under the watchful eyes of the guards, and raised a hand toward Benjamin's chest.

His movement caused some ghosts to fly over, transforming into floating, flickering ghost flames that finally attached to Oboro's arm.

His entire arm ignited with green flames, looking extremely sinister.

And thus, a miraculous scene unfolded.

Oboro's arm actually passed through Benjamin's chest without harm, reaching inside.

Then, with a tug, Oboro pulled out a humanoid-shaped void soul from Benjamin's body—only a part of it.

It was Benjamin's soul body!

Torn apart from him.

"Hahaha,"

Oboro chuckled softly.

With his other hand, he lifted it, and the mist around him surged. Two ghosts dragged a strange object into view.

It was a lantern hanging from a chain.

Or a small cage… For some reason, as soon as this thing appeared, the four survivors felt an ominous aura enveloping them.

Then, Oboro opened a small door of the cage, stuffed part of Benjamin's soul inside, and closed it again.

After completing this, he immediately retracted his ability.

The hall's space returned to normal.

"You can take your prince and leave now…"

Oboro casually dismissed them.

"Y-you… what did you do?"

Han's voice trembled as he asked.

"Can't you tell? I took something from him…"

Oboro raised an eyebrow.

A simple sentence, but it sent shivers down all four of their spines.
