Chapter 109 - Chapter 109: Fatal Green Lotus (Part 1)

Luka, controlling the Erha Battle Armor, was still fighting amidst the Frost Giants.

However, his situation at this moment was not good.

The enemies pouring out of the portal seemed endless.

Although countless corpses of Frost Giants were already piled haphazardly around Luka, he only felt that the enemies he had to face were increasing.

Currently, Luka, along with a few members of the Avengers, had to face all the Frost Giants that had emerged from Jotunheim, which seemed like an utterly futile effort.

The only support they could get was from the local Police in Brooklyn armed with ordinary firearms.

However, these people's small water pipes, when hitting the Frost Giants, might not even be as effective as the high-pressure Water cannons of the fire department.

They could only barely serve to attract enemies and create opportunities for ordinary citizens to escape.

More importantly, Luka, whose energy consumption was already nearing 50%, was forced to stop using his lightsaber.

The mech's right arm swung out violently, sending a tall Frost Giant flying.

But the opponent seemed unfazed, rolling twice before getting back up.

Instead, two Frost Giants rushing from the other two sides tightly embraced the Erha Mech's arms, immobilizing Luka.

"Damn it! Sure enough! The weight of the mech still affects the output!"

Unlike before, when he relied on the sharp lightsaber to slay enemies, Luka immediately realized something when he switched to using his more 'energy-efficient' fists to fight.

Although E-carbon alloy possesses excellent physical properties, its excessively light weight also leads to insufficient inertia.

Even though the fist structure itself was designed with reference to the White's bones, a mech over two meters tall with a self-weight of only a hundred jin was destined to have soft and weak punches.

However, insufficient punch power does not mean insufficient self-power.

Luka, held in place by more Frost Giants who rushed forward, was not flustered at all.

The flight backpack on his back suddenly spewed out a large amount of ion Fire, and the urgent heatwave instantly spread.

The unfortunate Frost Giant draped over Luka's back was directly burned through by the Fire.

Luka himself leaped into the sky, shaking off all the enemies who tried to restrain him.

Oh, not all of them.

The two giants who first grabbed the mech's arms should have been shaken off by the rapidly bursting upward force, but at this moment, Luka firmly gripped them with a backhand.

Feeling the ground rapidly receding, Luka, who had shot into mid-air, looked at his two 'followers' on his left and right, and a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

"Thank you for your self-weight!"

As he spoke, the mech suddenly flipped downwards.

It plunged downwards at an even faster speed than when it ascended.

"Whoosh—boom!"

The mech, like a White meteor, rapidly crashed into the ground.

A terrifying Impact wave instantly spread.

All the surrounding Frost Giants who wanted to encircle Luka were knocked off their feet by the violent Impact.

The 'counterweight' held in Luka's right hand was directly smashed into a pulp by this high-altitude fall, most of its body embedded in someone's backyard, becoming fertilizer for the land.

As for the one on the left?

"Ah ah ah ah ah—"

A series of shrill screams came from the sky.

Then, with a 'thud,' another unlucky fellow also smashed into the ground.

This guy, perhaps due to malnutrition leading to osteoporosis, had his arm directly torn off by Luka when he was diving down from the air earlier.

This caused him to land steadily half a beat later than his companion.

He simply failed to fulfill his duty as a counterweight.

"Tch~ Useless trash!"

He casually threw the half-broken arm he was still clutching forward.

This severed arm seemed to transform into a sharp, air-piercing javelin, instantly embedding itself in the forehead of a Frost Giant who had just stood up, causing him to fall back down, achieving a KO.

Seeing more Frost Giants, who had been sent flying by the previous Impact, still trying to get up from the ground.

The Police, who had barely managed to organize a defensive line in the distance, were still unable to inflict any effective damage on these temporarily incapacitated Frost Giants.

Luka directly gave a cold command.

"Harro, fatal mode, free Fire!"

"Targeting, targeting!"

As the man and Harro spoke, the mech's arms naturally drooped.

The thick leg armor on both sides of the lower legs quickly spread outwards, revealing two Black and White 'Orderer' pistols.

The pistols, controlled by the transmission device, accurately ejected upwards, falling into the mech's hands.

Immediately after, in the aiming module taken over by Harro, a continuous 'beep beep beep' of lock-on prompts sounded.

For a moment, Luka felt that the projected view in his eyes was completely filled with red lock-on boxes.

But anyway, he didn't need to control it next.

Luka leisurely watched the robot's perspective spin in place.

"Sizzle~ Sizzle~"

A continuous barrage of ion gunshots rang out, and countless emerald green ion rays accurately hit every Frost Giant trying to get up.

Even those Frost Giants who leaped high from the periphery, intending to attack Luka in the center of the field, could not escape this precise and swift shooting.

From an overhead perspective, the dual-gun Fire of Luka's single mech alone painted a blooming, fatal Green Lotus on this open ground.

Killing, at this moment, was so simple.

After this killing Green Lotus slowly dissipated, a scorched smell, produced by the ion rays piercing through the air, even lingered in the air.

The Frost Giants, who had been gathered in groups, now each had their foreheads pierced by rays, already dead beyond dead.

And those Frost Giants rushing from further away, like a startled flock of sheep, stumbled and crawled to stop their charge, not daring to cross the forbidden line again.

Even the Brooklyn Police, who had been'slacking off' all this time, now stopped their pointless shooting with horrified expressions.

One of the younger officers looked at the Glock 17 in his hand, then at the 'Orderer' pistol that Luka had retracted back into his leg armor, and quietly asked his companion.

"Is that, his, really a pistol too?"

The officer he asked glanced sideways at his speaking companion, as if too lazy to answer such an idiotic question.

Just as he had retracted the uncharged pistol, allowing it to recharge, and was preparing to launch a counter-charge against the frightened Frost Giants in the distance.

A red and Blue circular 'flying disc' suddenly flew out from a corner.

It continuously hit several Frost Giant heads with a 'clink clank,' then flew back at a strange angle.

Luka followed the 'flying disc's' return path.

Sure enough, the man in the Star-Spangled suit had arrived~
