Alexis didn't know why she felt like someone was poking her back continuously. She felt really itchy but there was no reason to feel like that.
She looked back but found none near her and Stefan only except those onlookers who were basically gobbling up then with their eyes.
Their earlier interaction didn't miss anyone's attention, as if they were trying to prove Alexis wrong about their current dynamic.
"They are not buying it," she mumbled to herself.
"Then don't bother explaining them again," Stefan simply replied as soon as he understood what she meant.
"I should say I don't care but honestly I don't know why but I want to," Alexis even couldn't believe herself that she said something like that.
