"Why are you here?" Venessa wasn't really in the mood to entertain him like last night so she decided to make him go away before he settled on her couch.
But it looks like Stefan didn't care much about her inner thoughts which was basically spilling out of her face with her irritation and ended up settling himself comfortably on the couch indeed.
The whole arrangement didn't feel right anymore.
"Did you spy on me? How did you get my door passcode?" Tension grew higher in her tone.
"What do you expect me to do if you suddenly rent your family house and buy an apartment in the farthest corner of the city," Stefan replied as if spying on her was the right thing to do from his side.
"Have you ever heard of privacy? And consent?" Venessa's irritation knew no bounds.
Stefan finally looked towards her, craning his neck to have an eye-contact with her.
"I have. You should be thankful of how I have minded about those two things when it came to you."
His words hung painfully.
