"Hey, finally! Someone decided to pick up their damn phone!"
The urgency was rather hard to hide from Joshua's tone and yet he was happy enough to at least get through Arthur.
"Why is Stefan Ashford following my trails?" The question came out abruptly but nothing he didn't expect beforehand anyway.
"Dude, like you should be filling me up with any news about Alex instead of dwelling on other unnecessary shit. Did you get any trail about her?"
There was a short pause from the other side but it wasn't any awkward silence but more like a hustling noise of fast driving. He was in the car. Maybe already on the way to get her.
"Did you find her?" He continued to carry on the conversation even after not getting the response. "Benjamin's behind all of it, isn't he?"
