Yuichi's wife, Himari, had been refusing to see him after Sakura tried to kill her. That refusal was the reason the condition wasn't fulfilled, and he didn't get the reward. He had even been planning to get the two to at least meet each other, thinking he'd have to manipulate the situation somehow.
