Feyra took out her notebook. She looked at the shopping list again, that she had written the previous evening.
I don't think there is anything I have forgotten.
She closed the notebook and put it in her bag, before she went outside and walked in the direction of the book store. Right in front of it, she shortly stopped and looked ahead.
In the distance was a black figure, that was slowly turning their head towards Feyra, before it disappeared just as fast as it had been there.
Is that a curse?
She shook her head slightly before she entered the book store, being overwhelmed by how big the store was. The shelves were full and ranging from philosophical books to political ones and further to fantasy.
This is... Like a buffet that's too big. One gets spoilt for choice.
Her jaw dropped, slapping herself twice on her cheeks and telling herself to act more appropriate.
