Feyra asked the young lady again to go out and get some more cloth to put on the ground. She didn't know exactly how a birth would go, but she had seen pictures and descriptions in various books now.
Even that medicine book I bought in the harbour city described it with various methods. Given I read that recently... I still know quite a lot.
The young woman came back panting again. She wasn't as panicked anymore, but in her eyes some anxiety could still be seen.
Feyra prepared everything and looked over to Reyna. "Are you able to get over here? It's not that far, but I want to help you reduce pain and make it not as uncomfortable."
Reyna looked over to the spot prepared for the birth. "I'll try." She sat on the bed and tried standing up. Her legs were a little wobbly and she felt pain. Feyra grabbed her arm and signaled to the young woman to take the other arm.
Together, they moved Reyna over to the spot. She knelt down for the moment.
