Shiba stumbled over to her, now being the one kneeling next to Weixian. He couldn't believe his eyes, trying to comprehend what he saw.
Feyra also came over and looked at Weixian again. Her breathing seemed gone. She took her wrist to check her pulse.
"She... She has no pulse anymore," Feyra said in a shocked voice. She then checked her breathing again and confirmed that there were no signs of life remaining in Weixian's body.
"But... How? She survived being smashed to the ground by a golem!" Shiba seemed to be confused by the situation. He had seen with his own eyes how resilient Weixian was. She had been in situations that would've killed a normal person, yet she had come out alive.
"She survived boulders rolling into her and... Even smashing one but... I... I'm scared," Feyra said. This was the first time she was saying her feelings out loud.
