Chapter 52 - Three-Way battle Part Two: Choso, Eso, and Kechizu V.S Urauame

(Pov Choso)

The face-off was intense and prevented me from directly assisting my brother. That man had used us and tried to make my little brothers fight, then he nearly crushed us to get Yuji. He had crossed the line, and yet I could do nothing about it. I had failed as an older brother. But I would not fail now, all three of us would fight harder than ever to protect our little brother, even if that meant killing our father.

None of us had moved, though each side waited to see who would attack first, and, unsurprisingly, it was the curse. The arm had extended towards me rapidly. I moved to intercept, only for the curse to suddenly be replaced by that of the man who called himself Yuji's brother as well. Yuji attacked immediately, kicking the curse away.

I prepared to follow when the figure in the middle moved as well, preparing their own attack. I couldn't let them interfere, and immediately began compression of my blood. I fired the blood in a thin stream, intercepting the other's ice attack and drawing their attention.

To my left, I saw Gojo attack the last figure, the man who had once been Kamo Noritoshi and now had taken a new form. I had no opportunity to follow either of the others, though, as my new opponent focused entirely on me.

"Eso, Kechizu, we must deal with this enemy and prevent them from interfering with Yuji," I said.

"You got it, Choso." "Yeah, whatever you say, big bro." They responded, and we prepared for combat.

"You are all in the way." The figure said before pressing their hands to the ground, causing a massive wave of ice to shoot outward towards us. I jumped back as my younger brothers broke off moving to the sides. They didn't have my level of Blood Manipulation, but each of us had the same poisonous blood; any injury we caused would prove troublesome.

Now that I had a better look, the figure before me became more recognizable: another ally of Kenjaku from a similar era to his. I only knew their name, Urauame, an ancient sorcerer incarnated into a modern body. I don't know their technique, though, but it was likely they knew mine, given who our mutual former benefactor was.

I would need to surpass myself to win this and provide the opening my brothers needed to attack. I felt the blood rushing through my body, moving faster and faster through my muscles. 'Flowing Red Scale: Stack!' My sight sharpened, and my movement refined; this was the inner strength of my technique, pushed to the max.

The world around me seemed to slow down, my blood not only rushing through my body but also into my hands. The pooled blood began to condense through convergence. This was the first stage of blood manipulation to condense the blood first before using it for attack, but Urauame had already seen Piercing Blood, so they would expect it.

I would need to use my own original move, one that I had developed while my brothers and I waited in our original form. I split the condensed blood into multiple small spheres and sent them out, creating a field surrounding Urauame. "Ice Fall," Urauame spoke, pressing their hand down to the floor, and large waves of ice appeared, spreading rapidly towards me.

That was when the attack began as Eso and Kechizu jumped in their own blood, flooding out and covering the ice. It froze, but their technique meant that Urauame could no longer advance without taking damage. It was then that I activated my own technique, Supernova.

By condensing my own blood with convergence, then splitting it into orbs instead of firing it as Piercing Blood, I could leave it floating and waiting for my activation. The blood orbs surrounding them began to explode in sequence, spraying blood in all directions. Urauame wasn't prepared and was knocked back by the explosion.

The ice that had been advancing broke apart, leaving Urauame with heavy damage. I could already see the rising steam of the Reverse Cursed Technique activating. Yet despite the visible wounds healing, Urauame couldn't stand back up. Given mine and my brother's special biology, our blood was poisonous for humans even in small amounts. It could be undone with the RCT, but it would take time.

Time that they didn't have.

I charged in using the increased power from Flowing Red Scale: Stack to close the distance. I ejected more blood into my hands, but instead of using convergence, I hardened the outer layer, creating a bladed surface. I struck, swinging the blade downward towards their neck, but they were fast, even with the poison blood still in their system. They raised their arm to block my movement for a bit, but the extra strength from the boost allowed me to overpower them.

They dodged to the side, and the blade only left a scratch, which began closing. I went to follow up, but despite the poison Urauame had brought, their hand was up. "Frost Calm." Then they blew out, and a massive wave of frost caught me, freezing my lower body.

"You have been an annoying pest daring to stand in the way of Sukuna-Sama's revival!" They said. "Any who dare oppose his return shall be destroyed."

As they moved to strike me, Eso attacked from the side, his maximum technique active, allowing him to skate above the ice. He struck with a large splash of blood, and I could already see the spread of the flower tattoo across their body.

"Hah, how's that feel icy? Enjoy de-uh!" Eso never got to finish his sentence as Urauame speared him with an ice-coated fist. I could feel his life leaving him as his blood leaked out, freezing on the ground around him.

"Big brother!" Kechizu yelled out, but he was frozen in place, his legs stuck to the floor. I could only feel fear watching my little brother bleed out in front of me, and I could feel my technique failing.

"You are all fools, and the world has no room for you in it," Urauame said before readying their hand once more. Before they could strike, though, a sudden blur shot past, slamming into them from the side.

The ice that had been encasing us shattered as Urauame went flying, crashing through a nearby wall. In their place was a tall figure, his hair was a shocking white, and his clothes were heavily damaged, but he looked undaunted. It was Gojo Satoshi's own fight that had to end, but he was too late.

He looked around for a moment before turning to me fully. "Grab him and bring him outside, find Nitta, he's average height, blond hair, he can stop it from getting worse." He said this before disappearing, a plume of dust appearing from where he had launched Urauame earlier.

I didn't hesitate to grab the body of my brother and make for the exit.

'I'm sorry, Yuji, you'll have to be strong for a little longer.' I thought as I ran back out of the subway.
