Delfina arrived home that day and found the living room dark. The curtains had already been spread, making it even darker without a single seep of sunlight allowed inside.
She tried reaching for the light switch but couldn't find it because of how dark it was.
"Is nobody home?" She wondered out loud as she tried searching for her phone.
Then she heard a sound that sent shivers down her spine.
She felt the presence of someone behind her and whoever it was, he was so close.
Her heart raced as she hurriedly searched for her phone. Turning on the flashlight, she turned, only for the lights to find Dominic's face.
"Dominic," she called. "Wha—"
"Surprise!!"
Delfina's head quickly spun with her heart falling to her feet in the people in the living room.
"What are you—" She couldn't complete her sentence as she clutched her chest, her heart hammering against her rips.
